Construction update on the New Memorial Hall building. It's really starting to feel/look like a cheap duplicate of the new business school...

Griewe Development was the last ones to call dibs on Lot 24, but covid hit and it went quiet quickly. No rumblings in my circles on the development of that block. Agree something needs to be done but seems like the steering committee isnt worried about it right now.

Delta to resume nonstop flights from Cincinnati to Paris in August After a few false starts, Delta Air Lines is preparing to resume nonstop flights to Paris from CVG Airport in two months. https://www.wcpo.com/money/local-business-news/delta-to-resume-nonstop-flights-from-cincinnati-to-paris-in-august I can attest that this time around my work trips in August to Europe haven't been cancelled yet flying the CVG to CDG route. Will be great to not have to fly to DTW, ATL or JFK to CDG and then elsewhere...

Covington, KY: Development and News
Grabbed a progress photo of the Kenton county jail conversion, to apartment tower. This has really made an impact visually near and far for the area. Also we need just a Covington, KY development page right?

Lets just call it what it is Liberty and Elm is dead in the water and 3CDC better get involved to grease the proper wheels and pay off OTR adopt to shut the hell up. That corner of OTR is just sad and depressing I guess that is what OTR adopts wants in the city... Wish i could find out who is bank rolling them and expose them.

Based out of CVG I am biased because of our new facility, but our old situation was worse than CLE. However every once in awhile during a week of travel I have had to make a stop in CLE. So I have observed business and some leisure travelers on the car rental bus and the comments they make.

Wish the city would do something with the Lazarus roller rink across the walkway from the tennis courts. Could be something better than letting Montgomery Inn put up an events tent 24/7 365

Yes I completely forgot about Panera closing, so even more sq. ft. I remember back in the day when Arby's use to be down in the general area too. I just think we could easily leverage Ohio based companies like Wendys, Charleys, Sbarro, White Castle to come downtown. Are these the sexiest chains? No probably not, but easier to convince a company to do something in there backyard then across the country. Also thunderdome has a couple of fast casual concepts that would work nicely too.

5/3 Real Estate need to clean, white box and subdivide the space up. Convince national chains to set up there one and only downtown location there. Get three or four national fast food or fast casual chains. That way you have an epi-center again for those who are back again working downtown to congregate for lunch.

Id hate to believe the rumors but there are some swirling around that the Lindners are trying to prevent this from happening so they can get there hotel off the ground first right next to the stadium.

As long as they dont put cute white picket fencing up like they did at the Dennison site. Hopefully Artworks can do something with the wall and it would be too barren for long. I don't have faith in the regional leadership at the moment to get this hotel up off the ground.

Cincinnati: CUF / Corryville: Development and News
There was conversations of acquiring the Hillel House when they purchased the Tri-Delta house, my understanding is the two parties could never come to an agreement so the development was altered without taking the house. The issue now is the parking lot behind the Tri-Delta house is owned by the Hillel House and they are still in process of buying it.
