The Ingalls Building will be a Courtyard by Marriott brand.

John Glenn Columbus International Airport
CVG gates are starting to get crowded though. Since Concourse C was torn down you have Delta in 3/4 of B and American the other 1/4 of B. The rest of the carriers share concourse A. Will be interesting to see how our airport will either have Delta give up more gates or finally expand Concourse A to the west.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Western & Southern Headquarters
They are moving into the old Chiquita space in Columbia Tower. I don't assume they are going to develop another tower unless they run out of space there next. Seems like the banks office building will be next to build.

Cincinnati: Downtown: The Artistry
Construction Fencing is going up and they are starting to clear the site of the old parking attendant hut and other items. Looks like the ugly Artistry building is a go or moving forward. To think of all the great proposals for this site over the years, and the project that looks like anywhere suburban USA will be the one built on this prime piece of real estate...

FC Cincinnati Corporate Offices painted recently the base of the existing building on 4th Street. Not a bad color choice...

Its a Chicago Brand with a strong following. People who travel or been to Chicago tend to try it once and tell others. Its similar to UNO's

Cincinnati: Downtown: The Banks
Most of the existing tenants have a stipulation in there lease, that states the developers/leasing agents wont sign other restaurants, bars, retail shops that compete in similar market. So you wont see another taco place, pizza place, burger place or hot chicken place in the near future because those niches have already been filled. Sad fact of the matter when majority of these leases were written and done they were desperate to get tenants and made some bad choices to get tenants

Yes while you have a valid points. You have to remember, the banks needs to have brands that dont exist anywhere else in the Region. Cheesecake Factory exist at Kenwood therefore why would anyone near or north of Kenwood ever come to the Banks for Cheesecake Factory...

Well Hilton Garden Inn will be bottom half of Fourth and Walnut but there are a number of other limited service brands that would still be available.

Cincinnati: Downtown: The Banks
Its managed and run poorly. I am surprised its lasted this long. Out of the four visits i have made there since opening only paid once. Kitchen or server has messed up so badly manager has always comped our meal. I don't even get angry or upset, the manager just seems to realize its on them.

Cincinnati: Downtown: The Banks
Giordanos was going to open a location there a year after yard house. I wont mention names, but someone made a bone head move and signed Pies and Pints lease agreement a couple months after Giordanos letter of intent. Once they heard another pizza place was going to open at the Banks they pulled out. Beyond that i dont believe they have been aggressive with that pad at the banks. Its acting as a flex space for now.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Convention Center / Hotel
Sorry but having worked in hospitality design for a number of years I can tell you now the south tower is not going to be financially feasible to renovate and bring up to national convention standards. Environmentally speaking yes renovating is better but owners and lending banks are all about the almighty dollar than the environment. Hilton Signia is a high end luxury brand that will be a boon for the convention center and downtown. If they can secure the existing hotel and demo it for a new Hilton Signia it will be a major step in right direction for the region.

Cincinnati/NKY International Airport
Based on conversation I have had with a good buddy of mine who works for Southwest in Dallas. They are still uncertain of the CVG market for additional service. They are using these seasonal routes to gauge if they can get more passengers to fly SW out of CVG. It seemed like Southwest wasnt unhappy with the level of traffic, but they arent stellar enough to throw year around service to more cities. Sounds like they are hesitant to invest in more cities and routes until there is a healthier SWA flying base.

Once the county agrees to incentives or tax breaks, its all up to Gableman and the Banks Steering Committee. Because the lot is already built up and ready to go. So county's hand should be done with it quickly in the beginning stages.

This was when Columbia Sussex had interest in the Millennium, gave up after trying to buy it and went ahead with the Renassiance on 4th Street

The amount of heads that would roll if this ever happened. Truly showing we arent a region but secular areas the way politicians work around here.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Convention Center / Hotel
Vandercar development should never be trust. That guy is a snake in the grass. He will get the hotel then next thing you know drag his feet and expect major subsides and breaks from all government entities. Ten year later hotel is still standing in even worse condition and everyone is pointing fingers at each other because the county got in bed with a developer that has a bad track record. Not a big fan of 3CDC or Steve Leeper, but he seems to always come through on getting s*** done.

Same reason why it took one attorney, Mr. Gableman to get communication and meetings going between all parties to make The Banks a reality. The local powers that be, never communicate with each other until its too late or when the golden opportunity has passed.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Convention Center / Hotel
I know from a couple sources this came out of nowhere on the county and a developer trying to purchase the Millennium. There was alot of momentum from April til now and then this just sort of hit the brakes on the new hotel. In my opinion, we need a new hotel that has larger room, higher ceilings, bigger bathrooms. More up to date with the expected standards of todays travelers. The millennium is a much older property limited by what they can do even for a major renovation.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Autograph Collection Hotel (Anna Louise Inn)
The guest rooms will be a floral hot mess. Was lucky enough to see the mock up room and thought I was transported back to the early 90s of Laura Ashley designs

Cincinnati: Downtown: Autograph Collection Hotel (Anna Louise Inn)
Well that's winegardner and Hammons for you, they built and developed a number of Marriott and Holiday Inn properties in suburban office parks all over. It's what they know. Somehow they got this idea they can do urban design for boutique brands like autograph and AC. There one man internal design guy is really old school, this design proves his lack of depth.

Cincinnati: Downtown: The Banks
They are starting to pre-lease once they get the blessing of the steering committee. So Lincoln Property Company will be the developer of the office pad and will market the building to prospective tenants, they hit a certain lease number, and financing will come through for construction.
