There is an Eastland Mall that is being revamped. Perhaps that's it?

The Arena Grand plays a mix of mainstream and indie movies. I watched the Aristocrats there not too long ago. From what I've heard, the Drexel Gateway is going to be the same thing as the Arena Grand. A mix of mainstream and indie films. Either way, they're both locally owned and operated, and that's always cool in my book.

Yeah, that or an IKEA. :D

Nice! Now they just need to do something with that ugly building right across the street from it! (The one just north of Haiku). :P

Last I've heard it was still planned for the NW corner of Nationwide & Neil (which would be right at the bottom center of that picture if it extended another two inches). ;)

Uhh... the Arena Grand downtown is owned by the Drexel Group. It's a complex. Probably the nicest theater in town.

I sat outside and watched some of the demolition on Saturday morning. Always fun to see buildings being knocked down. Can't wait to see the new ones go up! ;)

I thought that we'd be getting some of that federal transportation funding for this project, but from other news articles I've read, a lot of that funding is now in jeopardy due to the gulf coast rebuilding efforts being a higher priority. Hopefully ODOT can still pull off the cap idea. I'd love to not have to see or hear 70/71 unless I'm actually driving on it. ;)
