^He always comes off, to me at least, as someone who is clearly very sad in his own life and genuinely enjoys the fact that the Browns have struggled because it affords him some sort of dominion in which to say, "I'm right".

I still don't think the Baker pick was a great choice, but I know John Dorsey knows his sh*t. Only time will tell... Also, KJP[/member] I wouldn't always trust those post-draft reports. They will linger for a long time, and be used as leverage over a year from now if trades are being offered.

^Would've loved to see Tony Grossi pull a complete 180 and say it was a mistake to pass on Baker.
  4. Can anybody hook a brotha up with a map of where the towpath (as currently completed) will lead me heading South out of Tremont. Thanks!
  5. Love Austin. A Progressive Mecca in the heart of Texas, an absolute gem. But, there's still several staunchly conservative districts within the city as incorporated.
  6. ^*Moonwalks the comment back*
  7. ^I'm gonna say it... Each of the above listed cities, save Cleveland, has - at the very least - a solid mix of (D) and ® running their cities.
  8. I was only there 3x. But everytime I was there the place was packed.
  9. Difference between Nashville/Austin and Cleveland is that the music is usually live. You can seldom go to a bar in either city and not find live music.
  10. When was Cleveland's last transatlantic flight and where did it go to?
  11. ^Nothing easy is worth doing, amiright
  12. It's really not. You can park on 59th-63rd in between herman and detroit and walk. its 10 mins

^^I'm critical of his 40 too... But remember, mobility doesn't necessarily mean speed.
  14. Some of these people have over 15 cases against the BZA.... wtf.
  15. Neighbor of mine did. I didn't get to talk to him about it this morning but he sent me a text during it saying "Idk what these people are talking about but they're mad."
  16. Yes they do, and it's drunken and glorious. I've been to: - Heinz Field - The Grove at Ole Miss - Paul Brown Stadium - New Era Stadium - Happy Valley - Sanford Stadium at Georiga - Death Valley (LSU) - Ohio Stadium - Notre Dame - Virginia Tech. I cannot overstate what a unique gameday experience the muni lot is. Granted it was weakened significantly by year's end last season... but at the beginning of the year, it's one of the most unique and massive fan experience the muni lot is. Only thing I've ever seen that comes close is the Grove at Ole Miss
  17. KJP[/member] here you are good sir.... https://nypost.com/2018/04/25/ex-new-yorkers-are-flocking-to-this-midwest-sanctuary/

I’m going to love them like they’re my own.... Also, the “last time we took a QB and Corner in Round 1” take is lazy and bogus. Don’t be like Tony Grossi

Not to go high brow here... But I ran the same exact offensive set in college as Baker Mayfield did at Oklahoma. It's hand tailored to the Big 12 and beating zone defenses. Sure, he did RPO in college... but that's not saying much, Ken. For example: - An RPO against a base Cover 2 will require a read to the strong side of the first defender outside of the box, usually the playside safety, sometimes a nickel corner. If you have a TE to the playside the read happens before the ball is even snapped, if you have a slot receiver playside, the read will happen within 5 seconds. - Now, changing this just slightly -- Baker will inevitably see "2 man under" coverage in the pros, quite often. This will require a pre-snap diagnosis of which side of the field the ball needs to go to. Beyond that, he won't know if it's man 2 under until about 1-1.5 seconds after the ball is snapped - regardless of personnel - this will require Baker to hold at the mesh point with the RB for longer than he'd had to in college. So, saying that he's run an RPO before is great and it certainly won't hurt... But it's similar to saying, he's worked out of the I formation before. It's not gonna hurt, but it doesn't do much else for him. He definitely is accurate. I'll give you that. But he plays like Ben Roethlisberger... Look at the last two QBs 6' or under to be successful: Drew Brees and Russell Wilson. Now Drew Brees will moonwalk into the Hall of Fame, so let's avoid that comparison altogether. So, what does Russ have that sets him apart - 1. Composure - there is no better quarterback in the NFL against a "field, zone, dog" blitz package. Coincidentally, the FZD is also the hardest to diagnose. In the face of these and other blitzes, Russ is incredible at adjusting protections to half-man OR 6 man to account - based on those reactions, he uses his mobility to get out of the pocket while continuing to look downfield. Baker's learning curve will be MASSIVE - remember, Russ had a year at Wisco. 2. Escapability - Russ ran a 4.5 at the combine, Baker ran a 4.8. About 60% of the DL in the NFL have better 40 times than that, and they weigh 290. Just got called into a meeting so I've gotta run. But Baker will not be successful in the NFL unless he takes the same course as Drew Brees - but you never know, maybe I'll start behaving like Jesus.

If they take Mayfield I'm running head first into a Pizza oven
  24. This whole thing blows my mind. While I love Victorian homes, I wouldn't have moved to Ohio City if that were the only option. The Georgian/Colonial and/or Italianate styles mixed with up-to-date development is what drew us in. There's NOTHING to support the claims being made by opposition groups. I could see if they wanted to build a 20 story brutalist-style complex... but nah
  25. We just closed on a house on Clinton and I couldn’t have a stronger opinion in the alternative. No viable inner-city neighborhood exists as merely one architectural style anymore. Additionally, what Victorians have been leveled to create these complexes? Edge 32, Mariners Wharf, Vine Ct., Clinton West, Church and State, and now Dexter. None of them describe the tactics you are referencing. The closest would likely be Clinton West, and even then no historical homes were destroyed. A mixed neighborhood draws an eclectic mix of people that make Ohio City so attractive.
