Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
I saw renderings (a few months back) and there was a lot of grass, stone retaining walls that would run down to a path slightly beneath the regular elevation of the park.

^I think it has more to do with space. I shop more frequently because I do not have a large freezer/fridge and limited cupboard space

How unbelievable would Short Vincent be today if we'd have saved it. Although, I am a little more sympathetic to the reasoning as to why people wanted this street gone than PHS or other areas that could have went by the wayside altogether.

I am at that Heinen's 3-4x a week. Unless Geis is ripping their eyes out in rent... There is no way they are losing money at that location.

^ While I'd like nothing better than to utilize my Irish temper on a bunch of NIMBYs, I won't be able to attend. Is there a way to submit a favorable opinion via absentee?

YABO713 replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Restaurants, Local Events, & Entertainment^Millenium Force was incredible. The hype around it was more similar to that of a skyscraper going up or a company moving an HQ to it. I remember I was in 4th grade when it went up, and probably 2/3 of my class did their current events project on the Millenium Force that spring. Top Thrill was also hyped, but not even close to Millenium.

Cleveland: Downtown: May Company Building
CbusTransit[/member] by equity I mean ownership. We have great ownership vs. rental mixes in Tremont, Ohio City, Detroit Shoreway, and even in Uptown, to an extent. However, all of our ownership opportunities Downtown are either in the Warehouse District or beyond E. 12. This effectively leaves an approximately 15x8 block zone where we have thousands of renters, but no owners. I just fear that without some conversions into condominiums, Downtown will face a massive bubble.

Here comes, Yabo, the debbie downer... A CityTarget won't be sustainable over an extended period without equity downtown. Renters can prop it up until a down market, idk about beyond then.

Luckily I bought the bike last week. I'm planning on biking to work every Friday (as I won't have to be in a suit). It will certainly be better for my mental health

^I think he was referring to suburban home expansion in North Royalton, Strongsville, Westlake, Pepper Pike, Orange, Broadview Heights, et. al multiplied by the expansion of complexes like South Park Mall. I have no data either, just trying to provide some clarity as to the comment.
