I commute home westbound on the Shoreway, going from E 9th to w 28th. What Quarter has done to the visual volume and density of Ohio City is remarkable. From the Shoreway, the view that spans from Stonebridge to St Ignatius looks more like Brooklyn than Cleveland. Church and State is going to be a great addition

I drove through "Terrace" St on my way to Cleveland Heights court yesterday. Honestly, the worst potholes I've ever seen. Some were 5 feet wide by 12-18 inches deep. I had to rock my car out of one in front of an abandoned high rise.

What are you talking about? The two or three times I've travelled to LA for work its required me to go downtown. Their largest sky scraper have almost no street interaction.

Had a client in today from Philadelphia. Told me University Circle made him feel like he was in a worldwide cultural hub. That's the second or third time I've had out of town friends / clients tell me they loved UC

I'm always stunned at how little interaction the buildings in downtown LA have with the street.

Not being a downer... Because I hope it does too... But the vibe at the East Bank changed last year. The nights I was there beyond midnight it felt outright dangerous at times - and I'm not some suburban prude (I often make the walk from my work on 9th to Asiatown for dinner in the summer and live in the city as well). Further, a few of the newly opened spots are struggling right now (granted Summer can easily change that).

OBJ isn't needed at all. If you have Landry at the X , Gordon at the Z and Njoku at the Y, you honestly just need a scat receiver for the U. That will either be Higgins or Ric Louis - both of whom will benefit from playing against underneath man coverage against nickel DB's. The crossing routes they'll run underneath Njoku and Devalve's SCiF routes are going to allow them to operate in space in ways they've been unable to do thus far in their careers. Hey UO'ers, The official announcement will not be made until tomorrow, but since we all like to share insight with one another on this sight, I figured I would share. I have been named the State Leader for Ohio for Stand Up Republic. As such, I will be responsible for grass roots campaigns, the organizational structure of SUR in Ohio, endorsing local candidates and issues, and the overall manifestation of SUR into a political organization within the state. I know how civically engaged UO'ers are and I would strongly encourage all of you to get involved if our message is within your political purview. Our Message While we welcome members from all political ideologies, our governing principle is simple: Our republic has strayed far away from the principles upon which we were founded. We are, admittedly, a right of center organization and often find ourselves aligned with principles that are traditionally more Conservative. However, recent attacks on rule of law, immigrants, a free press, free market, freedom of speech, et. al really are the reasons for our splinter from the traditional GOP. I am the great grandson of refugees from Ireland, my ancestors survived a forced famine / genocide and fled across the Atlantic for the Promised Land. A nation that would afford them Constitutional rights never imagined under British rule. My responsibility to uphold the American ideals for which they risked their lives - by immigrating here, and thereafter fought for in WWI and WWII - is marrow deep. Those rights are still ensured by our Constitution, but they are not self-enforcing. Purpose Stand Up Republic was founded to protect the ideas mentioned above. We want a country that stands for rule of law, a country that respects an independent Judiciary, and a country that will respect the outcome of investigations.
