2018 U.S. House of Representatives
^Really like him. Fellow Ignatian and he has distances himself from the President on issues of rhetoric. Just hope he holds true to his character.

Cincinnati: West End: TQL Stadium
Not always because of the money issue. Some grounds are just literally 125 years old and no longer safe. Emirates Stadium in London is a good example of a modern stadium in a tightly packed residential neighborhood. As will be Spurs new stadium. https://www.google.com/maps/place/Emirates+Stadium/@51.5549775,-0.1099516,471m/data=!3m1!1e3!4m5!3m4!1s0x48761b7645295e3b:0x3600713c8382cf90!8m2!3d51.5548885!4d-0.108438 I do see your point tho, as Man City and others have preferred more space.

^I was in Columbus last weekend and saw a couple developments of similar size where they used a crane for the build out. Anyone know why there are different methods/preferences for different projects? Or is there like a 5 floor threshold for that sort of thing?

Did a little audit of my apartment building again last week during the good weather. NY, Georgia, Texas, Maryland, Tennessee, and Michigan were all within a block of my apartment. With multiple NY and MD's

Cleveland: Asiatown: Development and News
I was scrolling through Google Maps and I noticed that the neighborhood has been rebranded on Google. It used to read "Asiatown" and now it reads "New Chinatown" https://www.google.com/maps/place/New+Chinatown,+Cleveland,+OH+44114/@41.5120386,-81.6763593,15.75z/data=!4m5!3m4!1s0x8830fa69b0fbcfad:0x4a1f7c5d593f7bc0!8m2!3d41.5116664!4d-81.6711107

Cleveland: Upper Chester: Development and News
Is Upper Chester really the name of this neighborhood? I've honestly never heard of it until I joined this forum. It sounds more like a kinky sexual favor than a neighborhood to me.

Cleveland: General Business & Economic News
KJP[/member] A friend of mine from HS currently works at Goldman Sachs in Chicago. He's 27, puts in about 70-80 hours a week and is looking for a change of pace. He told me that he approached his boss in early January, and told him that he was considering leaving because he wanted to return to Cleveland, as his brother just had his first kid and his fiance is from Cleveland as well. In response, his boss asked him to hang tight for the next 18 months, telling him "Stay here for 18 months, there has been talk of us expanding to Cleveland as our biomed portfolio expands in this office. If nothing has happened in 18 months, I will write you a recommendation, if it has happened, I will transfer you to the new office."

Cleveland: Downtown Office Buildings Updates
Does anyone know of a Class A building downtown with available office space for a law firm of 12-15 employees. Might be out of our lease earlier than expected and need to scope out possibilities that are somewhat reasonably priced.

MLS: General News & Discussion
So, MLS teams are going to pay top dollar for talent and miss their players every other summer for more than a month for Euro's/Gold Cup/Copa America + World Cup..... Would you pay a player max dollars if you knew they'd miss at least a month every other year due to injury?

#BuyLocal- Cleveland Guardians Discussion
I believe it would have to be readily available without having to jump through too many hoops. It may not need to be sold online but should probably be available in the team shop and other team affiliated shops. They don't need to disseminate them at Giant Eagle but keep it to the stadiums and hotels. It's important they're sold over state lines too. Because all of the team shops are in-state they are going to have to have some online presence. Selling only in-state jeopardizes their rights to the logo. It's actually not important to be sold over state lines. If the material for the shirts traveled across any state prior to being manufactured, boom, ya got em. With seldom exceptions, intrastate commerce no longer exists. Especially when items are available for purchase online.- Cleveland Guardians Discussion
^Nonetheless, back to Indians talk.- Cleveland Guardians Discussion
I'm all for hazing, but I'd rather y'all just give me a wedgie, shove me in a locker, or sell me a non-existent elevator pass. Passing blame was alright in the 60's, 90's, and early 2000's because we weren't hemorrhaging cash as a country.- Cleveland Guardians Discussion
Can we stop blaming millenials for everything. I get it, avocado toast is expensive... so was the Mortgage Crisis - we caused one of the two. Additionally, my @cle_news poll is winding down... "Should the Indians have removed Chief Wahoo" 136 votes - Yes (31%) 303 votes - No (69%) .... Nice.- Cleveland Guardians Discussion
I'd give this one up. As I said, I'm 100% Irish and obviously the leprechaun isn't offensive. But it's hard to say the same rationale cannot be applied to Fighting Irish as would Fighting Sioux, etc. - Cleveland: Retail News
