MLS: General News & Discussion
MLS will never be a top-tier league until their schedule changes. You cannot recruit the world's best talent to a summer league. I know you don't want to compete with NFL, but MLS has to go fall to spring or it will continue to stagnate talent-wise.

Right, if they do not have at least a small presence, they can lose the trademark and thereafter knockoffs can begin selling it.

FWIW, on my Instagram page, @cle_news, we have had 166 people vote in the last two hours. 73% against changing it, 27% for changing it. I'll let you know how the vote closes out tomorrow morning.

Cleveland Guardians Discussion
A) I love the block C, to be honest B) But, man am I said to see the Chief go. That smiling face will forever have a spot in my heart. C) Inevitably, I think the team name will be soon to follow. I bet the Indians are no longer the Indians by 2040.

^ To that point, Cleburger[/member] .. the outlets could draw from stores not normally found in Cleveland. - Saks Off Fifth - Neiman Marcus - Lulu Lemon (if they do outlets / factory stores) - Orvis - Patagonia (same as Lulu) - And anchor it with the first Lebron-centric store in the country, similar to Jordan outlets.

Agreed. Ukrainian and Polish Village are both walkable neighborhoods with streetscapes that really need only cosmetic fine-tuning. Those areas could follow Lakewood's lead.

I have started doing my grocery shopping at Heinen's during lunch. Just so much more convenient. I actually went into the CVS on 9th the other day to buy nails to hang something in my apartment.

Cleveland: Random Development and News
I posted the article in this thread earlier today. I have been to the one in Alexandria, Virginia. And let's just say I am not their target demographic. It's pretty popular with the "bro-grammer" crowd. In other news, I am no longer an "excavation site." I am now a "dirt lot." My wife will be so proud. Lol it is, admittedly, my crowd. Though I wouldn't apply quite that label. I worry that it won't survive in Independence, though. I honestly would've loved to see it go on the West Bank.

I don't think that's Trinity... I think it's St. Peter's Catholic Church. I compared the spires and Trinity has two up front and St. Peter has four. I know... I've become obsessed. It's unhealthy.

^ I saw that on GoogleMaps as well, but (and pardon how obsessed I am by this), I believe St. Peter's Catholic church is in the foreground in front of the CSU tower, so the orientation from One Cleveland Center doesn't quite work. The carpentry on the netting around the sides of the hoop (to stop the ball from going over) all looks new as well, and the court itself is rubber tile. I NEED TO KNOW. - Cleveland: Random Quick Questions
