2022 U.S. Senate Race
Heard it directly from someone familiar with Mandel's mouth... His strategy is to try to get banned from Twitter and use it as a rallying cry. There's really no other path to victory over Timken/Vance/Kasich et al in the primary unless he somehow becomes the victim of a culture war. While his rhetoric is racist, xenophobic, and wrong - I do get a certain degree of schadenfreude watching a single man's avarice and moral pliability ruin his own career and a family name that took decades to build in Northeast Ohio. For the Office fans in the forum - Mandel is to Trump what Andy Bernard was to Michael Scott early on in the office - the consummate "yes man"

2022 U.S. Senate Race
Lol! I actually like JD Vance - I think his intelligence leads to pandering, and I'm just concerned that could turn into a Hawley / Cruz sort of thing. Re: Money. Look at Georgia - it literally was the difference between stimmy and no stimmy - Senate races will only get more expensive as the country stays polarized

Vance is a more likeable Tom Cotton, imo.

Cleveland Mayoral Race 2021
It gives the city a "bazooka" so to speak, in the event that a sale is ever necessary, it will fetch a pretty penny

Agreed - Nonetheless, I think the project actually ended up looking better than the renderings (which were admittedly ugly as sin)

Lol yes - and unfortunately there's case law to support this. Nonetheless, I always shovel and just assume my mailman won't try to bankrupt me

I once had a law professor who explained that, as a homeowner, you're better off not shoveling snow from your porch. The moment you begin shoveling, you assume a responsibility for its condition.

No - and as a lawyer I'd recommend against it. If you acknowledge some sort of inherent danger or fallibility then you'd also (arguably) be assuming some responsibility for it - and therefore liability. Law school turns you into a bad neighbor.

My mom hadn't missed a Michael Stanley concert since my state football championship game in 2008. She was an absolute diehard.

Ohio Intercity Rail (3C+D Line, etc)
No... I'm just referencing their mere, counterproductive existence

Cleveland: Flats East Bank
Tbh - height in the Flats won't add much to the skyline anyways, as it's already 80'-100'ish lower than the rest of Downtown, so I'm not too disappointed.

I am trying not to be insensitive... But they've had over a decade to save this building, and it just sat vacant
