  1. Issue being - we could develop our midtown with new, single family neighborhoods being walkable to the centralized commercial areas. We just don’t have the population to support a midtown with anything comparable to NY’s massing.
  2. INNOVATION DRIVES GREATNESS! Draw up some alternatives, @X lol. Let's go pitch it to a builder.
  3. the layout. A pedestrian friendly residential development with retail/restaurants/grocery and green space all centrally located. That would be a dream. I don’t think the architectural style would fly up here though lol

So this is cool.... A novel set in 1837 Cleveland detailing the adventures of the protagonist, whose involved in the competition between Ohio City and Cleveland https://www.barnesandnoble.com/w/cuyahoga-pete-beatty/1136314370?ean=9781982155551
  5. I just want my commute route back ?
  6. Okay so, I've become absolutely smitten with Norton Commons, pedestrian oriented neighborhood in Prospect, KY. Seen below https://www.google.com/maps/@38.3249284,-85.5654942,3a,75y,277.9h,95.9t/data=!3m6!1e1!3m4!1sZI0cd5nUerIeXAqXK7q3zw!2e0!7i16384!8i8192 Could you imagine if we could re-plan portions of the East end of Downtown into Midtown as this sort of development, except with elements of mixed income to avoid displacement
  7. Maybe not the correct thread - but is there a way we could've built our highways in a manner that wasn't so impactful on our neighborhoods?
  8. I’ve gotta say, my street is a beaut in the fall (minus the crater-sized potholes)

Some UO-relevant smack talk - Cleveland has a larger steel presence than Pittsburgh

Screens, draws, and mid-zone to the bank. Make their pass rushers earn their living

Most encouraging, though, is that past Browns teams would've found ways to lose those games

Alright folks, I woke up feeling great this Monday morning, so here is my breakdown: Offense Holy crap is our o-line good. Nonetheless, I was with a group of people watching the game who made me want to pull my hair out. I think our fan base expects us to run the ball even more - which is damn near impossible. However, the Colts defense is STELLAR against mid and outside zone runs, which is our bread and butter; so Stefanski did what a good coach does and made our run game complimentary to our passing game, and it worked. Whether or not we realized it, the Colts went from having 7 in the box every play to 6 by the end of the second quarter, which allowed us to get hat on hat and open up some running lanes. D'Ernest Johnson might be the starting RB on a dozen NFL teams right now, which is a testament to our depth. We give our o-line its just desserts, but our receiving core might be the best downfield blockers in the NFL. It's cool to watch 3 super stars in Hooper, OBJ, and Landry doing their 1/11 and giving themselves up to help get an extra yard or so. I know it's not Stefanski's favorite, but I'd love to see him utilize RPO a few more times a game. He does an excellent job putting Baker in positions to be successful - especially in play action, and I think giving D-Lineman a run read for that first second will help Baker with his vision downfield, assuming he decides to pull it. Defense Miles Garrett is currently the most dominant edge rusher in football - and if I am him I'm FUMING right now at how hyped up TJ Watt and Bud Dupree have been. He needs to take that sh** personally and showcase why he is the DPOY. Everyone needs to lay off Takitaki. My mans is VERY good at setting the edge on defense and has improved consistently each week, especially with tackling. We definitely need Karl Joseph back and Greedy back Sendejo has struggled, to put it lightly. The issue with me is that he's not getting beat in man coverage, he's getting beat in zone - which means he's just not following his reads. Twice yesterday we were in cover 2 when we gave up 20+ down the seam to a receiver that got behind him. That's high school football rules crap - you cannot let that happen as a safety in Cover 2, 3, or 4. We need Larry O back. Dude has been DOMINANT B-Gap to B-Gap. I know Rivers was pressured a lot yesterday, but he would've been claustrophobic by game's end with Larry there. I LOVEEEEEEEE how we line Miles Garrett up as a 3 and 5 technique at times. I've the o-line is set in a half-pro protection and Miles is on the weak side of the field, that means he's 1v1 with a guard in a pass rush situation - which is like a cheat code. Olivier Vernon is having an unsung season. Dude has complemented the hell out of MG and is creating a lot of QB pressures in his own right.

I was 4. And with all due respect I watched Myles Garrett commit assault with a deadly weapon on field last year..
  14. Exchange on Clinton really rolling along. Middle house will be entirely red brick
  15. Spoke with my neighbor (who was employee #59 at Cross Country), and he emphasized that the move is for one primary reason: Moving into an urban campus setting will allow them to recruit better talent. He not so subtly told me that they project to be at 2,000 employees in Cleveland by 2025.

Why? I think if anything we've proven to be more than proficient without Chubb. He's a unique and remarkable talent, but our o-line did the job with all four RBs we featured. The Colts' front 7 is a whole new challenge though.
  17. Just as an aside - remember when those NIMBYs went absolutely crazy about the Knez apartment proposal on Franklin, between 48th and 50th. Their reasons being: 1. Not enough access to transit - despite there being 3 bus stops within 0.5 miles ? 2. No available parking, as the church "regularly" fills up the only parking lot nearby and streets are "already filled" with spots. Here is the church's parking lot, PACKED TO THE BRIM during their Sunday service this week (btw attendance for them hasn't changed and I see damn near zero of them wearing masks going in) ?. I cannot emphasize this enough, NIMBYs are the worssssssssssst
