Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
I can picture the Townhall PR response already: "This was clearly a targeted and vicious attack on those who refuse to blindly be sheep to the Cleveland establishment. Bone broth cures cancer by the way."

Another way that he will pretend to be victimized.

From my walk with the pup this morning - looks like the basements are getting set for the townhomes on 48th between Franklin and Detroit

Cleveland: Random Visualizations & Massings
So, when my uncle passed away I inherited some of his Waterford collection - one of which was this piece. It's kind of funny to note how close the National City (?) tower was to being built on Public Square... so much so that it was included on memorabilia.

Cleveland: Ohio City: INTRO (Market Square / Harbor Bay Development)
I'll be honest - I'm there 5 days a week and not a single day has passed where I haven't seen a group of people walk up and do a group workout, or kids walk over and play pickup football. Yesterday, there was a group of people from Senegal playing pickup soccer

Cleveland Guardians Discussion
I'm also fine with something that eliminates a nickname, like Cleveland Athletic Club, or Cleveland Baseball Club

Cleveland Guardians Discussion
The Spiders won the Temple Cup - the precursor to the World Series - I think we go for Spiders.

Cleveland Guardians Discussion
I don't want the name to change - but Spiders is the only way to honor our baseball heritage in NEO, in my opinion. I fear changing our name and going with something with no historical roots would be like the Green Bay Packers changing their name to the Wisconsin Motorcycles or something cheap like that. Moreover, we'd have a historical logo and jerseys to source from.

Cleveland: Downtown Office Buildings Updates
I'm hearing rumblings about a local downtown company with over 200 employees going full time remote moving forward. In lieu of office space, they will have quarterly "retreats" to promote morale... Anyone else hear about this?

Ohio & Erie Canal Towpath Trail
So, I know I obviously didn't go as far as you, and that changes the circumstances - but I went from my house in Ohio City to Peninsula, for about a 55 mile round trip. It was 92 the day I went, and my saving grace was pulling into the Winking Lizard and asking for a glass of ice water - I poured half over the towel I brought and put the other half into my Yeti, then put the towel over my neck... I stopped and poured the rest over my neck by Lockkeepers in Valley View. I had goosebumps and felt nauseous when I got home (left at 9am got back around 2:15pm), and I didn't have an appetite until 5... I still think that water was my saving grace in keeping my internal temp cool.

Heck's had a single broken window and that was the most I'd heard of it.

Does anyone know why Old Angle is (still) boarded up?

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
Id just love to see the Lumen and Beacon eventually shift over to for sale units. Owning in Playhouse Square would be incredible
-
Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
Anyone know what % of these units are already spoken for? I just heard the Beacon is giving away 6 months rent free...

That would explain the picnic tables

They might've been hacked. Idk why else they'd post a pic with a roach on it
-
Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
Also. Does anyone know if this is real or if they got hacked? I mean this is brazen, especially for Ohio City

Yeah, my wife and I are scheduled to take a two-year anniversary trip in November to Anguilla, and the hotel hasn't even processed our payment yet (from May 11)

Lake Erie
Good point on the dry June. From my understanding, the color has less to do with litter and more to do with silt collection. But I may be completely wrong

Lake Erie
We took the pup to the Edgewater dog beach on Saturday... Am I alone in thinking that the lake is much more clear this year?? I could see my feet clear as day until I was thigh deep.. and I’m 6-3

Cleveland: Ohio City: Church+State (West 29th & Detroit Ave)
I still haven't shared this with my wife, but I was walking home from Ohio City Galley in October and saw a man get stabbed in the stomach in what appeared to be a drug deal gone wrong. Linda's Superette is nottttt a net positive for the community. Though I don't think you were suggesting otherwise.
