  1. I agree with this, in part. I'm 29 and loving working on the 22nd floor of a building downtown, though.
  2. Before this derails - my use of the word nucleus was ACCIDENTAL - let's temper those rumors before they spread.
  3. @Geowizical could you do a rendering of a Sherwin Williams "complex" of sorts... say 3 buildings at 350-700 feet? Btw your first rendering was REALLY cool, nice stuff
  4. If this were 2002, I'd agree with you. But SW wants to ensure they attract the best talent, and in that vain, location matters
  5. I share Ken's enthusiastic skepticism, and can cosign that his source is just about as close to the nucleus as you can get.
  6. Dood. Cleveland is the Midwest - this ain't the Little League World Series
  7. I’ll catch flak for this, but I think a 40 story paint can would be pretty cool
  8. Cincy only has two teams - same with Nawlins

The team's new home cost $1.4 billion and was entirely privately financed. Yowza
  11. This thread headline sends a nice, cool, un-Trump-like, tone of objectivity
  12. The support beams appear to be external on this construction, glass likely would have been covering concrete. I don't know much about skyscraper construction but it appears the white is aligned with the beams.
  13. ^ Contributing to that "Ohio City Skyline" ?
  14. I see it as a three story boutique motel with a BW3 on the corner
  15. Heard from someone that could pretty much be considered the "horse's mouth" that this thing is running on steroids after these meetings.
  16. FWIW - I doubt they're digitized just because that would be an access target for bad actors looking to get on SHW's network. But maybe it is, I'm sure they have a bulky IT dept
  17. ^I'm hearing two shot but none killed
  18. Shooting on 45th South of Franklin last night. My dog went crazy and my wife and I could hear the shots. Such a shame, that’s a beautiful street
  19. So - full disclosure, this is fully a rumor I heard and I have no way to substantiate it - but I guess that's what UO is for lol... But I've heard there's preliminary talks about Frontier leasing the dead terminal from United as Frontier looks to become a primary domestic airline in the US, with the likes of Delta, Southwest, American, and United - hoping to leave the Spirit, Allegiant, et al discount airline stigma behind. If there's any truth to this, and Frontier is looking to grow and expand hubs, this could be big time.
  20. Call me crazy - because I love a good phallic symbol as much as the next guy, but I'd almost prefer 2-3 buildings in the 300-700 range. I think that would really fill in Downtown and help with pedestrian traffic. Also - I love that we're discussing this on the Jacobs Lot thread as if its a predetermined locale. (Though where tf else would they put it lol)
  21. A) Ken - you rocked it as always, great stuff. B) hate to be the bearer of bad tidings, because I want this too... but there WILL be a recession, even if modest, in the next 18-36 months
  22. I know - I have a produce stand that I go to regularly. That's why I said 75% in my initial comment
  23. No I mean selling tourists and suburbanites a pound of strawberries for $2 only for them to get home and realize all of the strawberries on the inside of the box are rotted out.
