Cleveland: Downtown: Cleveland Arcade
This naming issue has turned into a who vs. whom situation - no one ACTUALLY knows

Cleveland: Downtown: Cleveland Arcade
Colonial Arcade is technically two separate arcades, connected by what is now a mini food court - its referred to as the 5th St Arcade and the Colonial Arcade. The "Cleveland" Arcade is the Hyatt currently.

Connecticut Western Reserve
Wrong thread for that. Nonetheless, can anyone point me to the oldest standing building in the former Western Reserve? Looking to take a Saturday drive around NEO ... cough @KJPcough...

Connecticut Western Reserve
That article was a BS venting session given the results of this recent statewide election. First off, Ohio is not a "Red State", our governorship and state wide positions have typically been more red than blue, BFD - that does not make us a "Red" state. Moreover, it's typically blue cities in red states that are thriving right now, as you noted - Charlotte, Austin, Atlanta, Nashville et al. Cleveland Scene is a perennial rag looking to soak their own emotional projections onto everyone else.

Cleveland: Downtown: The Beacon
^Agree 100%, the view of it from the 490 bridge changes the skyline entirely. The Lumen will add some width as well, and two average sized towers will completely change the skyline.

Cleveland: Random Quick Questions
I'm turning to my favorite advice givers again - It's my turn to pick for date night on Friday and I want to go somewhere off the beaten path a bit (a drive to the suburbs is acceptable if necessary). I was thinking something like La Plaza in Lakewood (though I'm not going there), by that I mean a local place, maybe a little less well known, with some excellent food that's worth making a trip for. Any and all input will be appreciated, you guys.

US Economy: News & Discussion
Yeah, I think on the whole many Ohio farmers are lucky that they're in close proximity to their markets. We have some big farms in Ohio, but nothing compared to the Plains states.

US Economy: News & Discussion
Well hey, the positive news is that as a result of our easy to win trade wars, soy bean sales are down 94% in the last 12 months. Don't worry though, we are subsidizing that loss with a bridge loan from China.

Cleveland Browns Discussion
I don't think Gregg Williams is the long term solution. However, what we can count on is a more disciplined football team in the coming weeks.

There is another mini golf course less than 2 miles away from there

^I'd hate to be a cement contractor elsewhere in the city on Saturday

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
For that piece of property already in the hands of an able party, that's essentially losing money.

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Cannot overstate how underrated Jamie Collins is. He catches sooo much heat, but the man blows up O-Line pulls and combos like a dang grenade - and that's crucial to our run D.

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Honestly, since we're not going to beat the Chiefs.... I'm just looking for A) A significant reduction in penalty yards. B) Improved pass protection calls from Baker on obvious zone blitzes. C) More verticality in the passing game to Njoku and Ratley. If we get better at each of those three, we'll be a tough team to beat.

Sean McVay is the Vegas favorite to be Hue's replacement. I assume that's just because he's an Ohio boy but wow.

Dumping the OC at this point is WILD. There had to have been issues beyond mere schematics, because this is the type of move that will implode a locker room if done for the wrong reasons.

Cleveland: Historic Photos
^That was a pilgrimage for my friends and I growing up. Having first conquered Bloodview, and then 7 Floors of Hell, we had to face the Hudson Haunted House - the Granddaddy of them all

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
Agreed. As someone who went to high school in Ohio City, its hard to say that the residents of Ohio City, across all socioeconomic backgrounds, haven't benefited from a thriving neighborhood. Nonetheless, back on topic, I wish they would do ANYTHING other than a parking lot there. Literally anything.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
^Pretty exciting. I'm still concerned that I bought in a "dead zone", but we shall see.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Development and News
Since I bought my house, two more (homes that need work) have went up for sale, with one actively under renovation. I didn't really understand how rapidly the gentrification was expanding until I had this house. It's really encouraging to see.

Shaker Heights: Van Aken District Transit Oriented Development
I've been saying for years that CC and UH should bite the bullet and finance a light rail from each campus as the hub, with a spoke going Downtown, and a spoke going Uptown. Given the scale of Van Aken's ambition, it would make sense to add a spoke this way. But... I dream too big lol
