  1. I agree we need more cops murdering people for non-capital offenses. Pulling into an intersection on a green light is murder. okurrrrr.
  2. Here's the thing, I agree that words like "thug" are often the veil word for racists. But in some instances, the language is deserved. I'm with KJP[/member] ... If I had a kid along their route I would have been FURIOUS.
  3. I've already heard two people say this entire thing is racial profiling :| #WhyWeHaveTrump
  4. Honestly, my grandpa was right. A police cruiser should've just jutted out at an intersection when a green light came along and "woops, four dirt bikers ran into the side of my cruiser!"
  5. State Highway Patrol is devoting a task force to reigning this in.....
  6. I'm usually on Team Optimism with you KJP[/member] . But I have a hard time accepting that statement. Growth in what ways beyond the hospitals? Interested, not arguing.
  7. Took my goddaughter recently. These trains are a gem
  8. Wonder if Cleveland Scene will ever report on this...
  9. Wait KJP[/member] ... 200-300 murders? Woah
  10. Let's not kid ourselves, the grittiness is still here. To my friends from Dallas, Charlotte, and Boston, Cleveland is a grit Mecca. I think that adds charm to our city in many ways, and I'm proud of it. But it also carries with it major negative connotations and as TBideon[/member] says, it sure would be nice to be a player again.
  11. I think they'd do well in Tremont or Ohio City - ideally right next to or across from Geiger's downtown. Make that strip a destination

Alright, sorry if any of you know him... but holy crap does this Pumpkinhead guy bug me. He is a grown man who shows up to a sporting event with a pumpkin on his head in full pads. Whatever, I'm just surprised he's able to take so much time off of work --- nvm.
  13. That's not what the article said, at all. The 2019 projection of 2.4% still holds true. And that decline from 3.3% is due to Trump's asinine trade policies, but no where in there does it say the economy is projected to crater.
  14. Government is being done via twitter. So yeah, 2018
  15. Couldn't say it better. And you can brand the hell out of Ukrainian and Polish village(s).
  16. I once got in an accident at Ridge and 480 and had to call all three fire departments because none of them would acknowledge it as their jurisdiction.
  17. ^Great advice, only I've heard staying in Iceland is quite the hit to the wallet.
  18. Actually, I believe that strip is (confusingly) Cleveland. That area over the hop-scotches from Cleveland to Brooklyn to Parma every 100 feet
  19. A similar (albeit smaller) group ran through Flats East Bank on the boardwalk last summer around midnight on a Saturday
  20. Euclid Ave - 1900
  21. Have a buddy getting married in Italy in June. We have three days to kill in Europe to kill before the wedding (Preferably in a country adjacent to Italy) Anyone have any suggestions on flights into Italy/France/Switzerland/Austria? We'd like to make it as economical as we can, knowing we'll have to fly out of an east coast hub if we don't want to stop in Iceland.

Also, I'd like to say this to the "Pumpkinheads" of the world. We finally have a healthy, competent, talented QB room. Keep it that way, let Baker sit and develop. Lest we forget, the mouthbreather contingent of Browns fans were the entire reason Johnny Manziel went in for Hoyer when we were 7-4.
  23. I would agree if they would've kept the original "alley" idea, molded after Melbourne, AU. But the new concept doesn't really organically blend with E. 4th, and for that reason (other than the hotel and parking) I don't think they'd meld into one "destination"
  24. No windows wouldn't bother me if there was like an HD sort of screen on the outside.
  25. Lol my grandpa was a Cleveland fireman from 1945-1976(?) He used to always search abandoned warehouses after fires and if there was no ownership of the items, they were free to take them. He has this and a VERY old Indian motorcycle, I think both are absent motors, though. My favorite item is a mug from Leisy Brewery
