  1. What margin of victory are we referring to here? 80,000-ish votes in 3 states swung the election?
  2. I don't think it's meaningless - it's a preview of November in Ohio. This was supposed to be the first appearance of the "blue wave" here, and it's didn't materialize. Democrats will face similar challenges in Ohio's other Republican districts - they might get a bit of a bump and chip away at Trump's margin of victory, but not enough to flip the seats. I think that's like expecting a Blue Wave on the Medina City Council.
  3. Bottom line .... Our redistricting plan is superb. Beyond 2020 it is going to be VERY hard for people like Marcia Fudge, Jim Jordan, Bob Latta and the like to get elected. We're going to see people like Tim Ryan's, Joyce, or Wenstrup taking their places.
  4. Results aside, I'm reading that this election is meaningless - the two candidates will face off again in the fall???? Did I read that correctly? Yeah, kind of absurd. It'll be interesting to see if the Green Party leaves it alone or not.
  5. https://www.cleveland.com/expo/news/erry-2018/08/bf388a4044136/see-how-much-home-prices-are-u.html#incart_river_index Lakewood and the West Side neighborhoods of Cleveland have some interesting numbers.
  6. The Green Party continues to be UH-TRO-SHUS at politics
  7. ^^^^^I don't know how people in those townhomes will even be able to turn into their garage. That little strip of concrete between the homes and those apartments are awfully narrow.
  8. ^The Harness Cycle on the ground floor isn't doing well. Which is sad to hear

  10. It was right next to it. A bastion of education partnered with a bastion of copulation.
  11. I don't think that's the case anymore. I think we're looking October-November. I would expect to see concrete walls/foundation floors in place before that. In fact, I don't think they've even put the foundation pad in place yet, have they? Not to my (limited) knowledge
  12. Was this on the same side of prospect as the Rowfant club?

^Not to disagree with OBR, because they're great. But I've got first hand knowledge of this particular situation with Coleman. He's a dynamic talent. With a better attitude, he's still around and worth the coaching.

This is a culture changer. I remember my junior year of college we cut a kid from the team who undoubtebly would've led us in tackles and sacks. He had a sh***y attitude about everything. Although we lost an unbelievably talented OLB, the team and culture were better off. By the way, he transferred to an FCS school afterwards and was kicked off that team as well. I don't know much about COleman, but did he have a bad attitude? He's not a great locker room guy, especially in adversity. There will be down times this year, and getting through them requires strong leaders - which is a HUGE reason Tyrod and Drew Stanton were brought in - in addition to what they offer on the field.

Still true in 2018, no? Trending to less true than it was in 2016
  16. ^^^^So are we just not going to acknowledge the A+ sport coat game in that bottom pic?

^OBJ is the last thing we need on a roster this young.
  22. As an OSU fan and alum, I do get what you're saying here. But I also feel that its a vast overstatement. Every fan base in every city of every sport has some level of obnoxiousness to it. After all, fan is short for fanatic. But OSU having "the most obnoxious fan bases in sports"? Tell that to the Boston Red Sox fans. Or the New York Yankees fans. Or the New England Patriots fans. Or the Philadelphia Eagles fans. Or the Chicago Cubs fans. Or, okay I'll stop - there are probably other fan bases that similarly annoy people. I don't even think Ohio State has the most obnoxious fans in college football. The level of obnoxiousness in any number of SEC and Texas team fans will make you think OSU fans are the most polite and the fairest in the land! My point is that every fan base is going to demonstrate some level of obnoxiousness to someone at sometime. In other words - it ain't just Ohio State. I've seen games at UT, LSU, VaTech, Mich St., BC, OSU, USC, Notre Dame, and UGA - from that polling sample, OSU takes the cake. Again though, the "what about" attitude you just put on other fanbases, which may be fair, is the same exact attitude I think OSU fans would be in right now if it were Kirby Smart, D'Antoni, or Gary Patterson in trouble - calling for their heads.

  24. I'll be candid here - I'm not an OSU fan because I think they have one of the most obnoxious fan bases in sports. This past week has kind of solidified that. I have a buddy from college - who did not go to OSU - who suggested on Twitter this week that Courtney Smith was being paid off for these allegations.

There are less former Republicans than I expected. We have a broad membership. For example, Evan McMullin, the founder is a Mormon and former CIA operative - a disaffected Conservative. However, we have state leaders who are Hispanic, black, female, and gay... we also have at least 5 state leaders who were formerly Democrats before joining. While we are inherently a political movement, we coalesce around topics that we feel should be a no brainer for ALL Americans - which is why we don't have as expansive of a platform as a political party.
