Hicksville, Ohio
LOL, Hicksville? Really?

I'm a tourist in Toronto
Agreed. As nice as TO's skyline is, the streetlevel is what won me over when I visited. Incredibly vibrant.

Love the variety between neighborhoods in Cincy.

Columbus: Corps advises removing Olentangy dam
I'm sorry... but people shouldn't be going in the Olentangy river... especially from campus on south. The river is where all the sewage overflow currently goes, and you can typically smell it. What was this woman thinking letting her child get in that water? Take the kid to Wyandot Lake or one of the reservoirs...

Panhandling/Scamming stories
I agree with all above... if you're going to give, give to the services that help the homeless... not the homeless directly.

Pittsburgh: South Side neighborhood
Nice set of photos! I always enjoy visiting Pittsburgh. The city has a very blue collar feel, in a good way.

Cincinnati in the Springtime ~ College Hill and Northside
That reminded me of the old Grasscat Cincy tours! Very nice!

Los Angeles, two years ago - more urban than I expected
Nice work! I'm a big Getty Center fan. The Getty Villa in Malibu is really cool too, if you make another trip out. You have to order tickets (free) on-line about a month in advance though.

Cleveland: Inside Spinnaker's and Other Flats East Bank
The Flats was at one point one of the most unique and entertaining places to hang out in Ohio. Such a shame about its current state. Hopefully they do a good job revitalizing it!

Cleveland Rail Tour 2008 - PART 3 of 3
Looks like a grand day to be in Cleveland. I've taken the RTA rapid transit before in Cleveland and found it quite enjoyable. When we told our friends up there we were taking it they though we were crazy! Transit has a negative stigma about it right now that is really hard to shake. Fortunately for Cleveland, there is a great system already in place!

Columbus: Downtown: Arena District Developments and News
I'm not sure this will be a bad thing for the North Market. They really don't compete directly with a grocery store like Giant Eagle. I think the two could potentially compliment each other well. I agree with you, hopefully North Market will too!

Dublin: Bridge Park / Bridge Street District Developments and News
Old Town Dublin is easily one of my favorite suburban old towns in Columbus. It's very attractive, and actually draws a lot of people to its restaurants, cafes, and stores. This is just the icing on the cake.

Columbus: Downtown: Arena District Developments and News
This is indeed good news, but to lose the Giant Eagle on Neil would be disappointing. That was a great thing to have back when I lived in Harrison West. I'm sure the North Market won't be happy about this either!
