Columbus Museum of Art Renovation / Expansion
Looks beautiful so far. Anyone know what the expansion will look like? Will it match the architectural style of the building or go more modern?

Akron - Downtown
^LOL, I'm assuming it's not finished yet. You can tell Akron has alot of civic pride based on their downtown. I'm always impressed with Akron.

Middletown: Downtown Garage/Swallens Building Demolition
So what's to become of the land the mall was on?

Cleveland Browns Discussion
Too predictable. Defenses willl know exactly what to do when either running back is in. I say go with Harrison, using Hillis to spell. When Harrison has been given 20+ touches in the past, he's been very dangerous.

Columbus: Scioto Mile Riverfront Park News
Those trellis(es?) seem kinda out of place with the vernacular architecture of Columbus. They still look decent though.

The City of Angeles
It has been foggy almost every day this summer along the coast! Some sort of strong Alaskan current giving us SF weather. Lots of people have been happy about it because it has kept it very cool throughout LA... I prefer some heat though!

D T L A ! ! ! ! ! !
Nice job, thanks! I'm really loving restaurant row on 7th and the Old Bank District these days. The improvements just keep churning along.

Columbus: Harrison West / Dennison Place Developments and News
Yeah, when I first moved to Harrison West the old industrial buildings were still there and the neighborhood had quite a different character than today. Quite the success story.

West Broad Street Revisited Summer 2010 (Franklinton & Highland West)
Looks rough around the edges, but I can definitely see the potential for Columbus in this area. The rents in this area are probably super cheap. Good place for some galleries and start-up restaurants and clothing shops to pave the way.

Columbus: Downtown: Yankee Trader Building Renovation
Wow, so they actually own the building. Guess it isn't the rents driving them out then.

Columbus: Franklin Park / Trolley District Developments and News
Hmmm... if they weren't already doing the Wonderland artists colony, I'd say this would be an ideal location for something like that.

The Continent, Columbus
The Yucatan Liquor Stand? They used to advertise that place all the time on WNCI. I wonder if The Continent could be revived with reinvestment... stick a big Whole Foods or Trader Joe's in the old French Market. Get a couple of local chefs to open up outposts, as well as some of the well known chains. Stick a movie theatre and bowling alley in there. Get some boutique clothing shops with low rents.

The Continent, Columbus
^ Unless there's a dramatic improvement in Columbus Public Schools, the suburbs will continue to have the allure they have today for young families. I wouldn't write off the suburbs of Columbus quite yet.

Columbus: Cooper Stadium Redevelopment
Gotta say I'm opposed to the race track idea. Those things are need to be out in the middle of nowhere... or in industrial zones...

The Continent, Columbus
Easton basically operates under the same premises and seems to do ok. Makes you wonder was Easton will be like 20 or 30 years from now.
-
The Continent, Columbus
The Continent was a lifestyle center before lifestyle centers were ever popular. When I arrived in Columbus in the early 90's it was still doing ok. The 90's weren't kind to it though with the openings of Tuttle Mall, Easton, and Polaris.

Ohio State Fair 2010
This brings back some memories! Looks like there's actual some nice architecture at the Ohio State Fairgrounds that I hadn't noticed/been aware of when I used to go. No shots of the Midway?

I would renew my lease if I were in that apartment! Your passion for Chicago comes through in your photos. Great work!

Coldstone Creamery
Coldstone seems to still be alive and kicking in LA, despite the surge in fro yo since I moved here 4 years ago. Saw one out in Palm Springs a couple weeks ago two and it had a line out the door.

Columbus: Downtown Developments and News
Another great looking project replacing downtown parking lots. Is there a current aerial map of downtown Columbus that shows planned and current developments?
