Global Warming in Columbus
Hilarious! Especially the "Cleveland is Polka-Rific" sign!

CLEVELAND - At the Clinic and it AIN'T pretty!
Honestly my perceptions come from seeing the quantity of vacancies along the main drags, the dilapidated state of many of the buildings, the massive abandoned factories littering the area, and from the stories my friends from Cleveland tell me about the shootings/gang activity in the area.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Fountain Square Ice Rink
So where is the Ascent being built? I thought it was in the area this shot covers... By the way, these photos are fantastic! It's good to see FS with people actually using it :)

CLEVELAND - At the Clinic and it AIN'T pretty!
All I know is that I have friends who live in University Heights and Cleveland Heights, and we go downtown often. Whenever travelling down Carnegie, Euclid, Chester, or whatever, the area between CSU and Case doesn't look like a place I'd walk around alone at night in. Now I don't delve deeply into these neighborhoods to see if there is pockets of redevelopment, but on a whole, the environment is not very inviting.

What are the boundaries of downtown Columbus?
I was always under the impression that downtown was bordered by the Scioto River to the West, I-70 to the South, I-71 to the East, and I-670 to the North.

University of Cincinnati Bearcats Football Discussion
Dantonio's stay at UC was a short one... MSU could have some brighter days ahead of them now that he is taking over the helm. I'm sure Tressel V Dantonio will be played up by the media in the future for years to come. Who will take over UC now?

CLEVELAND - At the Clinic and it AIN'T pretty!
The neighborhood around the Clinic is quite scary... definately no economic ripple there. Hell, the East side between Cleveland State and the Case Western is scary.

Columbus: Downtown Developments and News
Columbusite, it is two blocks we are talking about here, and two blocks that don't have a whole lot going on right now. This development would help feed customers into the restaurants on Gay St after people go home on weekdays, and on weekends. This development would provide greenspace and a pedestrian friendly environment. I don't see why ALL DT development has to be mid-rises.
