I think this would be a good development for DT Columbus. Expecting all midrise residential downtown is unrealistic. Gay St is a nice corridor as is, and I think complementing it with this type of residential is a good move.

That video is the only commute I can imagine being worse than being stuck in traffic...

We have those in LA as well, I like them as a driver because I can tell how close the light is to turning yellow.

It's interesting because I recall learning in college about Marxist predictions about the negative consequences of Capitalism, and Marx predicted this would happen. The haves and have-nots segregated and the gap widening over time. This merger is a step towards socialism, which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

I haven't really seen much smog since I've been here... and the area the photo is of isn't an area the smog would settle in anyways.

don't do it! LOL, some people love it out here and some hate it. I love it. MTS may hate it. Just make sure you understand the pros and cons of the city before moving! That goes for any city in the country.

That pano is pretty much from Santa Monica to DTLA, so I'd say it's approximately 17 miles.

Hey, you've got the East coast covered, and I'll cover the West coast! UrbanOhio is slowly taking over the country!

I think Cincinnati, and projects like The Banks and OTR, would benefit greatly from the synergies that could be achieved from this. Stop the bickering and get people working together!
