Taco Truck Bike Tour 2010 - The Hilltop
Nice, a lot of those tacos looks quite authentic. Columbus has a decent Latino population on the west side of town. The whole taco truck thing is extremely popular in LA now, but they have a lot more than just ordinary tacos. Restaurant entrepeneurs use the trucks as mobile testing grounds for their products. We have Banh Mi trucks (Vietnamese sandwiches), Korean fusion taco trucks, Japanese fusion hot dog trucks... etc. The brilliance is that it's a cheap way to start a new business, you can move to wherever the action is (like campus on a friday/saturday night), and you develop a base of customers that use your Twitter/Facebook feeds to find where you are on any given day. Someone should totally start a Skyline Chili truck... I would but they don't franchise in California :(.

San Francisco Neighborhoods
Where will you be living? I know of a fantastic place for breakfast in Cow Hollow. Being that you are a Cleveland Little Italy fan, I'm sure North Beach will be right up your alley.

Savannah, Georgia
Visited Savannah once a long time ago... I remember all the parks throughout town being partiularly nice. Definately looks like a great place to visit in these photos!

Columbus Museum of Art Renovation / Expansion
This is great news. The Columbus Museum has always been woefully inadequate for a city of Columbus' size.
-
Birmingham, Alabama
Wow, some real architectural gems there! Is that a dirigible mast on top of the Leer Tower?

Columbus: Short North Developments and News
Walker, you make one hell of a contribution to the Columbus community through your website. I used to participate in it when I lived in Columbus, and I see you've taken it to new levels since then. Thanks for all that you do for Columbus.

Chambersburg, PA
That's a really good looking downtown! My father used to travel with work to Chambersburg sometimes... he worked for DFAS... they must have an office around there somewhere.
-
Harrisburg, PA part 2
Some of those abandoned buildings have such good bones! They just need a little TLC.
-
Harrisburg, PA part 1
For some reason I always forget about this place. I like the way the state capital is elevated and surrounded with other civic buildings. I also like the fact that the city seems to be oriented towards the state capital... makes it seem all the more grand.

Pittsburgh part 2
Downtown's looking pretty good, and you even avoided some of the more touristy areas!
-
Pittsburgh part 1
As demonstrated by these photos, I've always felt that Pitt punches well above its weight with regards to its downtown.

Columbus: Downtown Developments and News
Judging from the frame only... it looks pretty true to the rendering so far. This has the potential to be really stunning.

msp: the minneapolis skyway
Skyways unfortunately kill foot traffic on the sidewalks that downtown businesses need to thrive. In a city that gets as cold as Minneapolis though, they become a bit of a necessity regardless. Cincinnati, I wouldn't say is as extreme with regards to weather so skyways aren't necessary.

msp: around downtown minny
Cesar Pelli designs some classy-azz sh*t. Love his work. Minneapolis seems to be doing surprisingly well given how damn cold it is there!

MAC: General Conference News & Discussion
OU beat Georgetown... quite the upset!
-
Columbus: Old North Columbus Developments and News
I LOVE the restaurants in that area... good memories. Hound Dog's Pizza is a must every time I'm in town. One of the best pizzas I've had anywhere... period.

Richmond's Fabulous Fan District!!!
Don't see Richmond on here too often... thanks for sharing! Why is it called The Fan District?

Above the Bay: San Francisco, Oakland, ect.
Ohio Stadium in particular! There's nothing more beautiful than Ohio Stadium for an OSU/Michigan game when we are victorious.

Wonderful Honolulu, Hawaii (135 photos)
Thanks for sharing! A nice view of some parts of Honolulu I haven't seen before in photo threads.

Cincinnati: Bockfest 2010

msp: mpls uptown, lake st, midtown, eat street & loring lake
Could I be any more impressed with Minneapolis after these threads? I think not...
-
msp: mpls east bank saint anthony falls
Minneapolis looks like a terrific place... if only it weren't so damn cold there! Might one say that Minneapolis is the most impressive midwestern downtown after Chicago?
-
Mobile, Alabama
Nice! Don't get to see much Mobile, AL on these forums aside from the occasional skyline shot. Huntsville is supposed to be the more progressive and economically viable city in Alabama, right?

Above the Bay: San Francisco, Oakland, ect.
Some very unique perspectives in there of San Francisco, although I think San Fran is best appreciated from ground level when photographing. I have a feeling it is difficult to capture the experience of flying around San Fran on camera since the camera can't shoot 360 degrees..

Recovery 2010: Cincinnati, Columbus, & New York City
What a great set! I'm especially fond of those downtown Cincy photos... some nice neo-classical in the beginning there. My hat's off to you sir.
