  1. I agree Nati, I think that this development is critical to the vitality, and well-being of one of cincinnati's most treasured, and important neighborhoods. I think that this neghborhood has fallen into tough times, and has an opportunity to lift itself up and make the neighborhood, a more vibrant, walkable, neighborhood that responds directly to the needs and aspirations of its residents. I look foreward to seeing the new businesses move in and the start of the new building across the street. :-D
  2. Interesting. . . Maybe the German Herritage of Cincinnati is one of its untapped recources. Cleveland has little italy, we could have little germany. How cool would it be to walk down Vine and see a brewery followed by a biergarden, followed by a restaurant, all following the german herritage of the area. THAT would be something that would be a draw to downtown.

    Vandalia was named vandalia because of Vandalia, IL. The National Road Ends in Vandalia, IL and someone decided to stop before they got to the end of the road. They named their city after their intended arrival city.
