Cincinnati: General Business & Economic News
Cadence keeps rolling BY STEPFANIE ROMINE | [email protected] A decade ago, Cadence Network began marketing energy-management services as a way to help large retail clients save money. Since then, energy management has evolved, and so has Cadence. More than increase the bottom line, the downtown Cincinnati company's energy management program helps companies buy clean energy, test emissions, evaluate energy efficiency and market sustainable business practices. Today, the company manages 350,000 invoices at 320,000 sites for approximately 150 customers in North America and is on track to have saved its clients about $275 million by the year's end... http://news.enquirer.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080229/BIZ01/802290357/1001/BIZ

Where do you usually hang out in your city?
Agreed. . . Probably the best bars to just "chill" around Campus I Also like hanging out on campus. I think i am one of the few people that actually take advantage of Campus Green as a place to just Chill. . . I never see anyone out there. . .

you may be over simplifying things on the cost side rando. It's a lot harder to post a profit for these ventures than you make it out to be.

Cincinnati: Restaurant News & Info
UCplanner replied to The_Cincinnati_Kid's post in a topic in Restaurants, Local Events, & EntertainmentWell i went to The Federal Reserve in its new location in NOTL. And here is my review: I went to the new federal reserve with my girlfriend over the weekend. We walked in without reservations and were told that it would be about a half an hour wait. So we took a seat at the bar ordered a few drinks. as we were called we took our drinks over to the table with us. We were VERY slowly greeted by our waitress who would soon become my least favorite waitress i have had in a while. She took my drink order, but left before my girlfriend could order. When she brought back my drink my girlfriend ordered hers and we were ready to order. I said "i think we are ready to order". she said wait a few minutes while i go get her drink. . . .i don't know about you, but i want my order put in so that we can get this show moving. . . When she came back she had forgotten my gf's drink so she had to go back again. when we finally ordered we got the fried lobster (which was excellent, whoever told us to get that), i got the strip and she got some pasta thing. BOTH TASTED EXCELLENT!! the problem was when i got home i was not so happy. I think i received some food poisoning from them that night. I had to go straight to bed and definitely did not feel any better in the morning. The music was EXCELLENT as well. It gave a great vibe to the whole place. It is mildly well decorated and gives the feel of a little NYC. The manager came over and asked how everything was, i told him. . . .and he explained that they are still trying to syphon through their employees, which i understand completely. . . Anyways, my general thought is that this place is OK. . . not good, not bad. . . .i hope that it was a fluke that i got sick, but i probably won't go back. . . i wouldn't recommend it, but i also wouldn't stop anyone from going. . . all in all, not worth the price that you pay. . . :|

Cincinnati: Clifton Heights: U Square @ the Loop
University Heights? I find that area one of the safest. . .CUF and Corryville scares me much more than University Heights. University Heights includes Stratford Heights, almost all of the fraternities, and some of the better apartments around campus. To me, it is the safest area.

My family is originally from West Milton. You captured the best of the city, there are many other places that are not so nice.

Kendle International Branding Carew Tower
I heard on the radio on my way to work that Kendle International will be putting their name on the top of carew tower. Doesn't carew have a historical designation that would now allow that kind of stuff? Almost All of our major buildings have names on them, i don't think that i mind it, just a little odd looking.

UCplanner replied to The_Cincinnati_Kid's post in a topic in Restaurants, Local Events, & EntertainmentI was at Via Vite on Friday, Delicious Food, everything was prepared very well. The Staff was slightly annoying with how many times they interrupted to ask about water, or drinks. just leave us be! overall though, one of my top ten dining experiences in Cincinnati.

Cincinnati: 2007 Downtown Living Tour
This is at the McAlpin. I really liked the units, but they really seemed overpriced. Also, on the patio there are 2 balconies that have very weird placement. One is directly behind, whoever took this picture. It just seems like a weird place for a balcony i also enjoyed the edge. . .i think that those units will be very neat when they are completed.
