  1. Gilbert and the Bedrock team looked at purchasing the site a few years ago. They weren't interested
  2. If anyone wants a tour, i will be taking people sometime next week. Please let me know
  3. The current stadium is built on landfill and the ground can not support millions of more pounds on it. It's not that simple adding a dome to the current stadium. This was explored years ago and wasn't feasible
  4. As long as Sinito owns the property, there won't be any updates. A new developer needs to step in.
  5. The drama surrounding the Browns will have no affect on the skyline hotel project. If anything, the new stadium will bring many new hotel rooms downtown over the next few years. Personally, I'd prefer the Browns stay downtown in a domed stadium, although that wasn't possible. Brookpark is a better solution for the market than renovating a deteriorating outdoor downtown stadium
  6. nothing yet on my end, but I expect movement by the end of 2026 on the gateway east garage or some announcement of some sort
  7. Downtown St. Louis is an absolute mess, and their recovery from the pandemic is the worst in the country for any major city.
  8. Unfortunately i'm under NDA with these deals, but all of them are new builds
  9. What's even crazier is that there are so many more hotels coming to downtown and the surrounding area. They just aren't announced yet.
  10. Have you read about Kenny Wolfe? He's literally going to jail for fraud and has no money. He also just lost the Bell Apartments as well, as the lender, Twain Financial out of St. Louis is currently in possession. The new buyer can't do anything to the building until it closes. Unfortunate situation but hopefully closing very shortly.
  11. https://www.clevelandbrowns.com/news/lincoln-property-company-announced-as-cleveland-browns-development-partner-for-enclosed-stadium-anchored-entertainment-district
  12. The problem is LIHTC and subsidized deals don't pencil. That's why all of the incentives are needed to make them move forward.
  13. Both deals are 100% legit and with proven developers. Also, Hyatt corporate is behind one of the major deals
  14. He's talking about the two downtown hotels. I was there when he saw the renderings
  15. What's funny is there's 2 skyline changing hotels, and Ken has seen the renderings for the one in the warehouse district.
