  1. I just want to make it back to at least making bowl games even if they are non important ones.
  2. Well it wasn't downsized as much as I was thinking it would. So that’s good at least.
  3. Well a lot of Columbus people say Cincinnati is basically Kentucky so I guess they forget that we’re actually still in Ohio.
  4. Most of the time people just sign them just to appease whoever is asking them to sign. Most of these people who signed prolly don’t give a rats butt about this project.
  5. I was in Ault park and there was a guy grabbing signatures. He was talking someone else but I was hoping he’d try to stop me just so I could tell him I’m for the project. Wish they would only allow signatures of people who actually reside in Hyde Park and not the city. Going to assume it’s going to be on the ballot in November.
  6. Let’s just have both proposals be combined with the entertainment complex next to a 12 floor apartment tower.
  7. The first one would have been great! But I’m assuming they want that block to be done in one phase not divided into two phases.
  8. As a Madisonville resident I am glad something is finally going into the development that’s food/beverage related. Most of these storefront have sat empty since the buildings started construction back in 2018.
  9. What all blocks currently have a proposal ?
  10. It is. I would have thought that if Zara was going in at the mall they would go in the Forever 21 space.
  11. Now that the two largest plots along Liberty are getting developed Liberty and Elm (aka contrast) and this development let’s get all these smaller lots along Liberty developed! Would love to see the Northeast corner of Liberty and Elm get developed soon but idk how hard that will be since there’s a billboard in that site and of course I want to see all these damn parking lots developed as well.
  12. I don’t see them staying in the mall unless they go back to a smaller footprint like they had before they moved to the old H&M (though that space before was way to small and the old H&M seemed to large). Assuming the rent for the forever 21 spot is prolly pricey since it has its own entrance and is fronting a busy entrance of the mall.
  13. Prolly the Old H&M spot. Rally House is moving into the old Forever 21. Still confused as to why there’s a RallyHouse when there’s one right down the street. I’d assume they’ll stay in that spot until the mall can get another higher profile tenant to fill that spot.
  14. That and if you have any visitors they are going to have to park in your driveway and walk around your house to the front door or park along the street and walk down the sidewalk to your front door.
  15. We’re finally going to have a decent amount of tower cranes by the end of the year. These as well as I’d say 2 for the FC development and another 1-2 for the convention hotel. Hopefully we’ll see The tower at The District at Clifton Heights start construction (hoping it’s still a tower). Could add another to Newport if the Margaritaville hotel actually happens. Maybe one for the old IRS Site in Covington. Seeing all these cranes while coming down the cut in the hill will really be great and will showcase that our city is growing!
  16. Walked through the area last night after the reds game and a lot of the bars/restaurants were packed. Glad to see the nice weather bringing people back down.
  17. My assumption would be that they tear it down and use it as a parking lot for a few years. Would be great to see this site and the old Kroger site get developed at the same time.
  18. We already have one (Great American Tower).
  19. How about instead of the top being round, it being in the shape of a skyline cheese coney.
  20. Are there any plans for that now vacant lot that the dental specialist building used to be on East McMillan? I remember they were supposed to put something there but that has yet to come to fruition.
  21. Do they mention anything about burying the utility lines?
  22. The only usage I’ve seen from UC students and I did it as well when I was a student was to walk through it on my way to class. I used to park along Jefferson Ave and cut through the park.
  23. Going to assume we’ll see two more open in the next couple of years. I’d say one in Oakley/Hyde Park and one in Florence.
  24. Even with them building this. Cincys skyline is still more impressive.
