Cincinnati: Random Development and News
I just drove past this lot last night and was hoping something with some height would go there. Not the best looking building but we’ll take what we can get.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Development and News
Completely missed that section. Thanks! So the building they demolished was basically for nothing, I guess unless they decide to go to condo/apartment route and put a tower on that site which could make sense if 550 renovation does well.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Development and News
Article with W&S CEO about the area around Lytle Park and how he has big plans for that section of downtown. Doesn’t mention anything about a new high rise but they do have the option to purchase the Cincinnati Masonic temple. https://www.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/news/2024/01/12/john-barrett-profile-western-southern-impact-city.html

Cincinnati: West End: Development and News
Courier article detailing more about why they didn’t choose one of the apartment projects for the CET site and reading Purevals remarks doesn’t seem like the arena going on that site is a slame dunk. https://www.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/news/2024/01/12/mayor-aftab-pureval-town-center-garage-new-arena.html?cx_testId=40&cx_testVariant=cx_6&cx_artPos=0#cxrecs_s

Is the photo focus building in OTR technically mass timber as well?
-
Mason: Lindner Family Tennis Center / Cincinnati Open
Having it as the Cincinnati Open honestly makes more sense and is more beneficial to the area. There’s prolly a lot of people who you could ask where the Western and Southern Open is played and they would think it someplace in the southwest US.

Norwood: Development and News
That seems more reasonable. I’d assume if Siemens wants to sell they would want a pretty penny for the site. They would more than likely have to build a new plant in the suburbs.

Cincinnati: CUF / Corryville: Development and News
There was also supposed to be a new hotel that was going to go on that little sliver of land just south of Kroger but I am assuming that project t is dead.

Cincinnati: CUF / Corryville: Development and News
You are correct.

Cincinnati: CUF / Corryville: Development and News
Theres a couple different projects going on in that little section of Corryville/CUF. The one you are asking about will be a 5 floor apartment building with 55 apartments. Just south of that will be the Hollister Court project which will be a 7 floor apartment project (developer said that project will start when lending becomes better). Just west of these (currently vacant lot) will be a development of 4 new dorms with a total of 750 beds.

Cincinnati: Madisonville: Development and News
The original design was going to be a 4 floor apartment building with two floors of parking garage developed by the Manhattan group. After discussion with the Community council it was scaled way down to 3 floor townhomes (can’t remember how many but was a decent amount).Traffic, lack of affordable housing and someone literally said Madisonville doesn’t need more apartments were some of the remarks. If I remember correctly Ray Schneider (now dealing with some legal issues) was helping develop this site.

Norwood: Development and News
“Oakley” Parke is a new strip mall across from Istorage and Madison Bowl in Madisonville (hence why I put quotations around Oakley). Looking at the brochure I noticed a map showcasing all of the development going on around this and saw the Factory 52 development. Its saying that Phase 2 and 3 will expand the development up to 100 acres with the purchase of Muti-color and Siemens. Now I assumed they would be purchasing the multi-color building but never would have thought Siemens would be up to sell. https://retailproperties.cbre.us/property/output/document/view/id:142037

Cincinnati: Madisonville: Development and News
Looking at the brochure it’s showing City BBQ and Better Blend as two tenants.

Cincinnati: University of Cincinnati: Development and News
Are there any renderings of what the finished product will look like? I cannot seem to find any.
-
Cincinnati: Over-the-Rhine: Development and News
I think Logan street view will have one of the most dramatic before/after changes we’ve seen in OTR with the Findlay garage (top circle) and Logan commons (mid circle) taking up two decent sized parking lots and Liberty and Elm (two bottom circles) taking up vacant land.
-
Cincinnati: Random Development and News
I’m surprised they didn’t include the continuation of Factory 52, Three Oaks and the other developments in Oakley Station. City View station in Ludlow is another one.
-
Cincinnati: Over-the-Rhine: Development and News
The number count is now 276 from the original 305. Not really sure what part of development the removed units are coming from though.

Cincinnati: Over-the-Rhine: Development and News
Crazy how in the next 5 years this intersection of Liberty and Central Parkway will look completely different.

Cincinnati: Over-the-Rhine: Development and News
Great to see them build two new 3 story buildings at 1610 Elm and 1614 Elm.
-
Cincinnati: Evanston: Development and News
I’m going to assume they have their eye on land surrounding this development for future phases since the streets just dead end.
-
Cincinnati: Walnut Hills / East Walnut Hills: Development and News
Thanks haha not the best at grammar.

Cincinnati: Walnut Hills / East Walnut Hills: Development and News
In a perfect world when redoing streets, the utility lines would be put underground.
-
Cincinnati: Potential New Arena
It will prolly be something like the betMGM in the old Galla Park location at the Banks with a bar and or restaurant attached.
-
Cincinnati: Potential New Arena
I believe it stated that there will be 50,000 sq ft of retail. FC Cincinnatis store will take up some space and I’m assuming they will have a SuperBook sports betting site. Would be cool if thy did something like ballpark village In St. Louis.
