Says that this could possibly help them make a move to the OTR rec center.

Cincinnati: Over-the-Rhine: Development and News
I would say the Vine street corner is already starting as there’s multiple buildings being rehabbed as well as the planned rec center. The areas I have circled I believe we will start seeing some more development come online. One being the West End just northwest of the FC development. The other being around Rhinegiest (there’s supposed to be a new 4 floor apartment building in the parking lot just north of the Dunlop street cafe) (reserved for low income housing). I would also include the area around the Jackson brewery. The last one being around Somerset and some movement has begun in a few buildings around somerset as well as around grant park.

Crazy how the past 2 years this section of OTR has gone from vacant and parking lots to complete infill.

305 total units. There are 4 current buildings they will rehabilitate which I will assume are the ones that I have circled.

Cincinnati: East End / Linwood / California: Development and News
There was a developer a couple years ago that wanted to build apartments in Linwood in the Beechmont circle loop next to Beechmont avenue. I don’t remember how many units but it had a lot of opposition due to traffic even though it wouldn’t affect any side streets. Someone could literally propose a 4 unit apartment building and people would complain about traffic it would cause.

Cincinnati: Potential New Arena
The school id say would have some pushback since the stadium is right across the street and a lot of people were upset when FC bought the old stadium site. As for the POlice headquarters I’d say there won’t be as much pushback since we actually do need a new one. Can the railroad money be used for it? I’m assuming if so, they will try and use some of that.

Stated the hotel will be 19 floors (originally stated as 18) and the apartment complex at 14 floors (originally 13). Just guessing with height probabilities but I’d say hotel around 245-260 ft and the apartments 180-200 ft.

Forgot that 33 W 4th street was Purchased by keystone hotel group (same people who did TownePlace suites on 7th). Wonder if they will add floors to the building? If the building can support additional floors.- Cincinnati: Downtown: Development and News
- Cincinnati: Potential New Arena
I feel like I’d see them go for the free store food bank and Duke substation first. I feel like going for the school would cause some uproar from the community, the police headquarters not so much since they need a new one. I. Could see them building a new police headquarters in the parking lot north from city hall with maybe a garage just east.- Cincinnati: Potential New Arena
Stupid idea to put the arena there if you ask me. For one they want to create a nice flow between OTR and the West End, but putting in an arena there honestly just divides the two neighborhoods even more with TQL already in place. Two is that they are spending all this money redoing Central Parkway but the only spot that will have any sort of residential will be the FC development. Honestly would only be ok with it going here is if they said they had already had some developer who wanted to build one, but only wants to build it at that location and won’t entertain other spots. - Cincinnati: Downtown: Development and News
