The article is now stating a 9 floor tower which I believe the original tower was 7 floors. It also talks about 5401 Madison Rd which is currently a gravel lot just East of the newest tower. States that will be 265,000 ft of office with 10,000 ft each for retail and restaurant.
  2. I hope they do some sort of landscaping between the building and wasson way. Looks weird with nothing there.
  3. Couple shots from a few days ago of the new Findlay Garage. It’s coming along nicely and the detail they are putting on the faux buildings look great.. Not sure how the plant wall part will hold up but it does look good.
  4. Randomly saw this in google maps. Anyone have any ideas of what this is?
  5. New apartment project 1527-1531 Pleasant street will consist of a 4 story apartment building. Could not find any renderings of the project but remember it being in one of the planning commission meeting packets awhile back.
  6. The article says that they are retiring. They are selling the liquor license and the naming rights so someone could buy it and continue the business.
  7. Casino site with the Hard Rock hotel taking up the old greyhound station makes the most sense. Wouldn’t mind the P&G north site either as it would remove some large parking lots and could help start redevelopment of the other large lots around it.
  8. Construction journal says a start date of this month. Says on June 16th some approvals were still needed. https://www.constructionjournal.com/projects/details/8bc7e8d3dd3f45649931d2d57fa9cbd1.html
  9. https://www.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/news/2023/09/15/fc-west-end-district-planning-commission.html Planning commission gives the green light.
  10. Project kickoff for the convention center on September 27th.
  11. Yes, the church wasn’t a part of the development of the stadium but I feel it was kind of obvious that they would go for the buildings around it. IMO this spot was the best spot for the stadium. Oakley just doesn’t have the road capacity for all that traffic and having FC Cincinnati really in Newport doesn’t make sense either (we’re not the Jets or the Giants). If they would have put the stadium elsewhere I highly doubt we’d be seeing all the development close to the stadium as well (Central Parkway redesign, CET redevelopment, Findlay garage). Heck, maybe even Liberty and Elm could have been nixed if it wasn’t for the stadium. The staging area is just temporary, they are planning on developing that site at some point.
  12. https://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/2023/09/13/fc-cincinnati-rezoning-in-west-end-part-of-1b-in-development/70700745007/ Enquirer article about developments happening in the West End as well as Western portion of downtown. Most of the information in this we already are aware of on this forum.
  13. Rumor is it’s going to become the US’s largest Buckees with 500 gas pumps. They wanted something more dense but they decided they wanted to mimic the fast food plaza thats just west of the development.
  14. Are you meaning this area with the apartment building in the middle?
  15. https://www.cincinnati-oh.gov/planning/about-city-planning/city-planning-commission/09-15-23-cpc-packet/ 9/15/23 planning packet includes zone changes and major amendment to the FC Cincinnati development.
  16. Is the open space in the rednerings where CET currently is? Was wondering if they would build around CET until the new space is open then CET would move into the new space and the old space would be turned into what we are seeing as the open space.
  17. I’m going to assume they will get developed in the next 10 years, especially with all that’s going on around TQL stadium.
  18. https://www.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/news/2023/09/08/west-end-town-center-garage-redevelopment-plans.html Three potential development plans for the CET building and garage. Personally I like the Model group proposal.
  19. Do we suspect the renderings are any different than what we have been shown? Assuming they can change depending on what hotel brand they get.
  20. One of the holdups was due to a tenant not wanting to move out of I remember correctly.
  21. Is there any news on this since it been over 2 years? Is the project even alive?
  22. https://local12.com/amp/news/local/new-property-group-acquires-eastgate-mall-plans-retail-revival-hull-portfolio-shopping-malls-enclosed-greater-cincinnati-union-township-community-development-shop-stores-dining-food-court-vision-rebuild-underperforming-capital-investment New owners for Eastgate mall. Looking at their portfolio it just seems like they own a bunch of small town dying malls. Assuming Eastgate is just going to site as is with some “upgrades” made to it.
  23. Jimmy Buffet passed away today. Could this affect the Margaritaville hotel planned? I don’t know how much influence if any he had in the hotel developments.
  24. https://www.wcpo.com/news/local-news/i-team/mold-pigeons-potential-an-exclusive-look-inside-the-iconic-terrace-plaza-hotel WCPO did an article on the Terrace Plaza with the new developer. Article has photos of the inside plus updated renderings.
  25. Few photos of new Oakley station developments. First is of Graphite Oakley. Second is of the new Home2 Suites at 2910 Disney. Third photo left is the new Fairfield Inn hotel and the right is the new put put golf and food hall.
