Nashville: Developments and News
As much as I want Cincy to explode like Nashville/Austin has. I could not even imagine the disaster with traffic that would ensue. We also don’t have nearly as much empty space downtown as Nashville and Austin have so getting taller buildings would have to sacrifice some smaller/maybe historic buildings. Our best bet for new high rises are convention hotel (already planned). Parking lots south of the casino. Parking lots south of Kroger store. Joseph auto group parking lots (f*ck you Joseph). FC Cincy development (fingers crossed that 19 story tower actually happens). We know for a fact we’ll never see anything of height in OTR/West End.

Supposed to start construction in the fall is the last I heard.

Covington, KY: Development and News
Would have been nice if they would have put in a little coffee shop or something.

I do hate how the senior housing keeps shrinking in height. The original proposal I believe was 11 floors, then went down to 9 and now looks to be 7.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Development and News
Finally some news about this. This building is in too good of a spot and too nice architecturally to just sit rotting away.

Cincinnati: Mt. Auburn: Development and News
Low quality material but top dollar rental prices. Makes no sense how other cities can build good looking units for basically the same monthly prices as these will be.

Cincinnati: Avondale: Development and News
I honestly wouldn’t be mad if NIOSH pulled the plug on the site. Would much rather something more dense than one building surrounded by a wall.

Cincinnati: Madisonville: Development and News
Couple of renderings of the suburban retail development. The stand alone restaurant says First Egg aka First Watch. Wish they would move the orientation of the buildings to make it look a little more dense.

Cincinnati: CUF / Corryville: Development and News
Finally a rendering of what the building going where the Superior Credit Union was has been released.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Convention Center / Hotel
And still no word on a hotel brand. Smh

Cincinnati: Retail News
Would much rather see this store in Liberty Center than just 3 miles south of its larger store in Kenwood.

Cincinnati: Retail News
There’s the one in Anderson and Florence. But it looks that the Florence one will be closing in the next few years and I wouldn’t be surprised to see the Anderson one close.

So apparently a new Macys store is opening In Rookwood. Going to assume it’ll be in the Bed Bath and Beyond space and will be a new prototype store?

Cincinnati: Bond Hill / Roselawn: Development and News
Do people feel entitled to everything? People that don’t even live in the complex want the ability to use the amenities.

Cincinnati: Oakley: Development and News
Went there the second week they were open. The mini golf was not yet open, but I loved the space. TVs all around and some were large.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Development and News
At this rate this hotel may get built before the convention hotel.

Glad these got nixed for now. I’m not opposed to these but the current rendering looks to be cheap even though they are starting in the $300,000 range. I’d much prefer a nice brick exterior.

I always thought it was weird that the parking garage is only taking one section of that parking lot. I’m going to assume they are planning on developing that lot. If I remember correctly they were wanting to put apartments with a parking garage.

I could see that Huffman Jewelry place being a Marshall’s. The Marshall’s in Hyde Park has a similar looking storefront and NKY currently has zero Marshall’s.

Cincinnati: Pendleton: Development and News
I was just thinking about this building the other day when I drove past.. Could see it become a second phase of Bennett Point.

Forest Park: Forest Fair Mall / Cincinnati Mills Redevelopment
I’m going to assume there’s going to be a grocery store. Maybe trying to push for a Publix?
