  1. Not too much of a change other than the new construction around Findlay Market and TQL stadium (it’s actually a decent change but doesn’t really give any height). Give it another 2-3 years though this view could have a decent change with the new convention hotel and the FC Cincy development.
  2. On the Historic conservation board agenda. Rehabilitating 1623 Walnut (behind the shell gas station) into 9 apartments.
  3. Is on the Historic conservation board agenda for a new 5 story apartment building at 2443 Auburn Ave.
  4. Any idea on when the final phase of the district will start?
  5. I wouldn’t be surprised. Going to assume we’ll see one going in Oakley/Madisonville (maybe at the new retail strip they are building across from Madison Bowl) and one going in Florence. Would also love to see one in OtR but I don’t think that’ll happen anytime soon.
  6. Hopefully this gets built. Heading down William Howard Taft will look completely different in 5 years.
  7. Hopefully the other parking lot across the street gets developed. Would love to see another industry sized building.
  8. I’m going to assume they are stating that the blocks won’t be taken up by just one large apartment complex like how the Current and Radius did.
  9. https://www.cincinnati.com/story/news/2024/06/05/retail-257-unit-complex-coming-to-covingtons-former-irs-site/73961724007/ 257 Unit apartment complex coming to the IRS site. Will be on blocks M and N.
  10. https://local12.com/news/local/cincinnati-kickstarts-avondale-major-uptown-redevelopment-project-transform-upgrades-city-project-construction-planners-begin-new-hot-spots-hotels-living-spaces-apartments-parks-offices-buisnesses# Not sure if they are talking about all the land surrounding MLK and Reading or a specific quadrant. Good news though as it’s looking pretty sad right now.
  11. He will also be reopening Salazar in the redevelopment of the Saks Fifth Avenue. Sadly he will be closing Goose and Elder to focus more on his current restaurants.
  12. Oooppsss sorry. Do we have a Columbia Township thread we can move this to?
  13. Now there’s a place closer that my neighbors can buy fireworks, so they can let them off at 10pm on a Wednesday.
  14. https://www.tntfireworks.com/locations/3548578636-cincinnati-oh-45213 TNT fireworks looks to be opening up in the old Burlington space. They are currently doing some demo work. Not sure if it’s taking up the old Dollar Tree and Payless space as well. Update: Upon further investigation it just says Dollar tree (will be selling TNT fireworks) opening soon. Not a full TNT store. So not sure if it’ll be reopening (idky since there’s one a mile away).
  15. Barclays layed off 270 remote Cincinnati call center employees. https://local12.com/amp/news/local/no-sign-respect-bank-lays-off-270-cincinnati-workers-no-warning-layoff-fired-resign-quit-forced-resignation-barclays-international-bank-call-center-job-living-hamilton-remote-work-otr-violated-workers-rights-severance-pay-money-terminated-warn-notice
  16. I would assume that it has the councils support since there’s a lot of people and companies backing it.
  17. https://www.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/news/2024/05/17/neyer-properties-torque-suites-car-condos.html Car condos coming to Three Oaks development. I mean I feel like if you have enough money for an exotic or rare car you should have a big enough house to put one of these on your property. To each their own though and hopefully these will sell out.
  18. Nice to see they are eventually wanting the parking lots on the southeastern corner of Walnut and Court street to be redeveloped. Would be nice to see another 15-20 floor building take up that space.
  19. Where is everyone meeting at somerset since I don’t know any faces.
  20. Any news of the FC Cincinnati development?
  21. Assuming we should be hearing something soon about the hotel right?
  22. It is crazy that it’s taken this long to develop the rest of the land. Wonder why.
  23. Glad to see this finally happening. Would much rather more apartments than retail/office anyway.
