Cincinnati Streetcar / The Connector News
Do they use revenue from the parking lots for the streetcar?

Cincinnati: Evolution and Changing Perceptions of Urban Neighborhoods
I would still say yes. One of the factors being the new fc stadium. Yes there has been a spike in murders but it seems like most of these are due to gangs/drugs. If I could afford to live in OTR I would in a heartbeat.

Any news on when this project will start?

Cincinnati: Oakley: Development and News
As a member of crunch I love that crunch is building in Oakley. It’s alot closer to me than kenwood, but what do you think of having three different gyms ( crunch, la fitness, planet fitness)? Is that too much saturation?

Ohio Census / Population Trends & Lists
Yes Cincinnati is a lot smaller city limit wise but within those city limits there are a lot of hills to where you can not develop. There’s also some large parks. Mt Airy Forest for example which is over 2 sq miles and Soring Grove Cemetary which is the third largest cemetery in the US. There is a also large industrial areas between Queensgate and Northside where virtually no one lives as well as area around Lunken airport that have a low population due to to flooding concerns.

Will they have to rip all of that out if the Larosas development happens?

Cincinnati: Over-the-Rhine: Development and News
True. I think it would do well if it was the anchor store of whatever will happen at the old Macy’s on fountain square. Would be awesome to have an all glass store with 20-25 floors of residential above . I think it would also get a lot of foot traffic from ppl who are visiting.

It would be nice to see more upscale retail. IMO it would be cool to have an Apple store downtown and I think it would do well.

Cincinnati: Over-the-Rhine: Development and News
I believe the rooftop bar portion did not get approved and was what the developer was wanting to do So they did not move forward with the project. I would like to see that building get developed whether it be a bar or a restaurant.

Cincinnati: Downtown: The Banks
I wouldn’t say millennial are destroying everything. We are just making things the way we want them to be for our generation, so we can say to whatever group of young ppl in 2050 that they are destroying everything.

Cincinnati: Over-the-Rhine: Development and News
Where would they put it? The ballet site? And if they did hopefully there would not be an fc game and a concert at the same time or that area would be a nightmare (although the increased pedestrian traffic would be good).

Cincinnati: Fountain Square: Development and News
What if they turned old Macy’s into a fitness place such as crunch or planet? Make it a two story with 10-15 floors of apartments on top? I feel like downtown/OTR has the ymca and a few other smaller gyms but they do not really have any cheaper alternatives.

Does anyone have any idea what is going on in the southwest corner of Ridge and Ibsen? I have noticed they cleared all of the trees out of the plot of land.

Cincinnati: Hyde Park: Development and News
Im actually surprised by the location of it, with the strange shape of the parcel. It would be nice to see busken move over their and the old busken site be turned into a more dense development.

Cincinnati: Madisonville: Development and News
The new hotel by MedPace is almost complete as well as the Red apartments across Red Bank. Saw yesterday that they have fenced off the area where the new MedPace office tower is going and also saw what looked maybe like some sort of crane.

Cincinnati: State of Downtown
The sections that you see the most diversity are the ones that are already re developed. I think once you see more development and more people living downtown it will be more diversified. Even 5-6 years ago there wasn’t that much diversification downtown that there is today.

Cincinnati: Housing Market / Affordable Housing
Yes since I have lived there, bought my house in 2016 there has been a lot of younger couples that I have noticed move into the neighborhood. There is a lot going on in Madisonville, the Whetsel and Madison redevelopment is supposed to start this summer.

Cincinnati: Housing Market / Affordable Housing
I live in Madisonville and the housing prices here are also increasing greatly as well.

Cincinnati: Fountain Square: Development and News
Are any of these still realistic? Would be nice to have something that would add to the skyline but feel like they would probably just build some ten story apartment building on top of a 5 story parking garage.

Cincinnati: Restaurant News & Info
Hopefully they will be able to fill that space quickly. Always hate seeing empty space especially in OTR.

Any speculation why? Always seemed busy when I walked by and was good food the few times I ate there.
