Cincinnati: Downtown: Convention Center / Hotel
I’m wondering if the hotel brand they were wanting told them that they wouldn’t put their name on the building unless the convention center was also updated and now since we know that it’s going to be renovated they can proceed with the finalization of the hotel.

Any idea when we will have more information on the hotel?

Cincinnati: CUF / Corryville: Development and News
Wouldn't surprise me if they try to gear it towards college students then try to get them to join their church.

Mentions construction to start at the beginning of 2025. Assuming they are going to try for the transformational tax credit again after missing out on it this year.

Cincinnati: Downtown: Fort Washington Way Cap
https://www.bizjournals.com/cincinnati/news/2024/03/14/fort-washington-way-passed-over-fed-deck-funding.html Fort Washington Way misses out on funding again. I’m sure we’ve talked about this but can some funds from the railroad sale help fund these? I know it’s for existing infrastructure but Washington way was built so that caps could be put on so technically part of this project already exists.

If I remember correctly they will be presenting at the next Madisonville Community Council meeting. The area I’m a going to assume is the spot he’s wanting to build on was once slated for commercial and office development.

Cincinnati: Mt. Auburn: Development and News
Any thoughts as to what they are planning? I know the Hollister court project was supposed to go on some of these parcels, but I am assuming that them acquiring more parcels has changed that projects outlook.

We would if we had a crane for every single building being built. Seems like Columbus always has a crane even if it’s only 5 floors.

Cincinnati: Over-the-Rhine: Development and News
While bringing thousand of people into OTR, helping countless businesses near the stadium. Fast tracking a Central Parkway redevelopment that prolly wouldn’t even be on the radar if it wasn’t for the stadium. Yes it sucks that some buildings were torn down but a decent amount of the land was a stadium. The old ballet building with the tri state wholesale couldn’t really be used for anything else other than office and the pandemic basically killed that proposal. Yes it could have been completed already but at least it’s actually getting built.
-
Cincinnati: Over-the-Rhine: Development and News
Will prolly become the most dense block in OTR after it’s all complete.
