Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
I don't feel these conversations about the convention center should be centered around the lakefront thread. This would mean the Hilton is included right? So i'm going to create a separate topic for the convention center.

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
Honestly if you're this antsy for construction and architecture firms, while the secret isn't really a secret anymore, your debt to equity ratio shouldn't hamper your company's ambitions. I wouldn't be mad if they brought back ameritrust or if they just consider using the amazon renderings, SW needs a presence, and they sure as hell don't have one with living space in the Landmark. I feel that all this book keeping that has been put under lock and key is sort of discerning, although that was the case for the Amazon deal and I completely understand keeping a top secret file for bidding sake, I don't feel that it's necessary in this situation. We already know whats up, the secret is out there, and we are damn close to having this mega whale. If anyone has any material from the inside feel free, I enjoy every last bit of information that is put up in here. ?

I'm thinking they're just gonna say screw the debt to equity ratio, I think they would do go for the beans around 1.5:1 - 1.2:1. If they're that resilient during recessions they should have no problems.

Could it be possible that there would be a theoretical 'no need' for parking? It's right across from TT, so I can see a lot more added ridership potentially making this a transient subsidized development. Considering the sheer size of this project, they could just build a pedestrian tunnel directly to HQ.

In lieu of what's been happening, if Stark decides to or not, but how often do buildings get scaled back more than once, and how long could he actually wait to phase the project.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Church+State (West 29th & Detroit Ave)
Rename the entire city of Cleveland to "Ohio City" ?

Cleveland: Rocket Arena (Gund Arena)
Good! Now that this is finished, we can now take new accruing sin tax and upgrade the club sections at Jacob's Field which I'm never able to afford and will probably never use...

What would I do without you @KJP LOL! ?

Once Firebird on Scranton is fully built, along with filling in the West Bank with the likes of these developments, we may have a nautical tourist attraction the likes of Venice. Restaurants and residence accessible by boat. The corridor of the river would just be amazing to boat through at night, with the new and improved pedestrian parkway along Huron and Ontario. Something I could only dream about. A livelier Cuyahoga.

I would be fine if they cordoned off part of the Weston lot for a showroom, sort of like an IKEA style warehouse full of paints, stains, and other varnishes. Would be a nice touch to say the least, maybe SW will be the next "Furnishing God" of the world. They certainly have the potential.

Who knows, they may be looking at Weston's Superblock too. If they aint using it may as well develop those lots right?

Cleveland: Rocket Arena (Gund Arena)
I think they should keep the cleveland skyline silhouette on the floor. They had it on the court a few years back and it was just really cool to see. Probably one of the most original courts.

Cleveland: Random Development and News
Usually its up to city code, OSHA, and company policy. It's safer for the workers that way, and if there's a dropped object nobody just walking down the street is in peril

Cleveland: Downtown: The Lumen
The windows are at the perfect height to fit the entire reflection. It kinda looks like they're building ontop of Keith.

As much as it is troubling to think about potential recession, it's like you guys hate new things. This is a blast better than the original. I mean stark just built a really cool proving grounds with the Beacon. To get mad at him for not building it fast enough, or it's not what you wanted, now that's just ignorance, It's not even his fault. People spit all over 200 Public Square because it's tall, brown, and ugly, but I think it's a great defining feature for Cleveland. Let NuCLEus be another.

As far as I know, acquiring land from ODOT is really tricky. If someone was truly ambitious to acquire land from them and it wasn't initially for sale, even though there is an interest to buy and a large amount of money in your face for it, you may as well be asking a girl out on a date, showing up to a fancy restaurant, and voila! You get stood up...

So I have an inside on the rumors of SW tower even though I'm no longer in Cleveland. I have a buddy who is in the Financial division of SW right outside of Cleveland. He says it's just not in the budget right now, there's nowhere near the amount of capital. They're looking for finance options at the moment, but after the acquisition of Valspar it's been scraping really close to the bottom dollar.

Cleveland: Downtown: Skyline 776 (City Club Apartments)
Looks like a great deal to me, the only problems I have with companies saying they want to break ground within a year, is that the CPC wont let them. Even without a financing issue like Lumen, there has never been a time where a project has been fast forwarded. All bets set aside I think they are enough a reputable company, but CPC always wants more than what's been necessarily given. I hope this goes up without a hitch. BRING ON CRANE #5!!!

If you follow: https://twitter.com/TowerLightsCLE?s=17 They give you insights on what the color will be and for what reason. Usually they light up for awareness, but during a color change or transition it goes through that same color palette. It's all part of the program they use to sync their lights together. This page also regularly post historic photos and things to do around Cleveland. Quite a useful page I'll say.
