I've been working on a few 3d modeling sketches on Google Sketchup. Maybe I can find one big enough for Jacob's Lot. Or if I don't maybe I can mock one up. Anyone know the dimensions of the lot? What Sq ft. are they looking for? I don't like tossing old renderings and concepts of what could have been, just look towards the future for once. Might not be as tall as this rendering but It wont be a waste of space, trust me. ;) Maybe I should have went into architecture...

Do you know how blinding that would be? The one for the Jack is wayyyyy too bright as is it. Although I wouldn't mind having a place downtown for major adverts like Picadilly Circus in London and Times Square in NY, a singular sign isn't good on its own. Like the ones on the side of the road at Walgreens stores and flashy car wash signs, they are just a nuisance to passing drivers.

If we want to increase the height, we would need developers who would want to do so. They would surely update the code if we had more of a demand to expand vertically. Unfortunately we have one project that is willing to break it, and it's definitely going to cost stark on NuCLEus building above 600'. That's one thing I don't understand on this new revision. You want the building to be built but you're also restrict the height limit. Seems legit...

Yeeaaaah thought that was a stupid question. I just thought that since PHST was over 20 stories it could get some sort of funding after the bill is passed. Bet regardless this project was mainly funded privately which doesnt happen very often, but I'm just wondering where they got the rest of the funding from if not would it be provided on behalf of House Bill 469...

I know this is a little farfetched, but don't you guys think construction began before funding was closed because of the NuCLEus deal in the oversight committee?

Eh, They could have at-least added the wings of the crown to the logo. I don't like how blobby it looks to the left. The production of the video was somewhat mediocre in telling the story of the logo, really and the music just sucked... They could have made a hype video on Cleveland's obvious sports history, but they just told a boring not very well thought out story of how they made the logo. However Cleveland Crest sounds amazing. It rolls of the tongue nicely.

Lol CSU's Rhodes tower is just too ugly to incorperate into our skyline... There's no wide angle lens that would even encapsulate its existence... You would think for a University founded within the 60's you would want to build something that might be extravagant like and art-deco or a beaux arts tower, but no its just a large concrete pedestal...

I was driving to school this morning listening to WMMS on the radio when a Conrads advert began to play. When the narrator says Conrads, it almost sounds like "Conreds" atleast to me.

Yeah, I wouldn't include Jacob's because there's just way too much uncertainty to it. Surprised there hasn't been a war between Stark and the Westin. It's prime real estate. But I will for sure add NuCleus, because I want you guys to feel like you're missing something. I always revisit this picture on google... Just thought it represents of things to come. We surely are getting there. This surely gets me motivated enough to render the photo.

When I get home today I may have some time. Expect the future by tonight or tomorrow.
