Recently the FBI files for the case of the assassination of JFK have been released. There's a file that had leads on Cleveland Mobsters, not sure where they were from whether it was Little Italy or Slavic Village. It makes me want to read upon the history of Cleveland moreso than ever.

All the steps it takes to just build a canopy, and encroach on the public right of way... Small steps, but yet it is progress...

If it were up to me I wouldn't have named the new Parmatown 'The Shoppes at Parma' we just call it the shoppes...

Most likely the school board was waiting for the election to pass to be sure they can approve the TIF. I'm not sure how long Stark will actually hold onto this deal. I'm confident that the CMSD will approve the TIF, because now that Jackson is the incumbent they have the insurance and a high chance that Jackson will even aid the CMSD with this deal.

I decided to make this for those of you who are creators and envision something of any architectural use. We could discuss where things could be placed, including practicality, what we need more/less of, what modifications can be made to the drawing, and aesthetics. I encourage you to draw or plan things out on Google Sketchup based on preference, but if you don't have the money or the time to learn it, just use whatever you feel comfortable using. That 34 story residential goodness will definitely fill in the gaps between Downtown and CSU's Rhodes Tower... Would sure love to see a multitude of cranes downtown.

I never knew the construction on Lakeside Ave was for an underground pedestrian tunnel... Apparently it's spanning from the Hilton to the Huntington parking garage... The garage was already outfitted with a plan to build ontop of it when the time came. Structurally it was pre built with the support the building needed. I'm assuming they just need to expose those supports within the structure and reinforce them. It would kind of make sense to reinforce them because we're adding more weight to the equation.

They took down the Leasing banner on the Edge off-campus apartments. Now we can see the entire facade of the building! Wasn't able to snap a picture, but now the whole building face from CSU is visible.

Glad to see the Flats are starting to take shape of a walkeable area. I'm sure there will be more renderings if there's 15-20 stories of floor-space. This is a massive addition to the list of residential projects currently under way... I love it already! Verticality is better right?

They may have been testing their jamming equipment. The wifi at CSU died for a little while after I asked that question... Sounds like North Korea's 80s phone service will be disrupted for the little coms they have... HAH

If the IX was up for sale it would immediately be bought up by amazon being adjacent to the airport. But since it's an active convention center for the bigger conventions in the region, those that are too big for Huntington, I don't see the IX being sold up anytime soon. There's practically no question that using two in such a tight vicinity is quite a test in itself. Not really confident we could support a third, but I think it would be practical to have a fulfillment center close to the airport for air freighting.

Did anyone hear the Fighter Jets downtown? I happened to be walking outside of CSU to classes, and something loud flew over my head... couldn't have been a commercial plane. I was also sitting in the business building about an hour later, and there was some loud rumbling going on outside for quite a while. Does anyone have any knowabouts of why they're here and what type f-16, f-15, f-18?
