  1. Voting Yes. My wife had complications during pregnancy which nearly cost the lives of her and our child. Thankfully they are both healthy now and doing great. But I have no patience for "Christians" forcing their views on the rest of everyone and limiting options for families (women especially) when making life altering choices.
  2. Glad this is staying here and in the Midwest. Not that losing it to the sun-belt would be "devastating" but its one of those death by a thousand cuts where Charlotte is already growing faster and the rich get richer. The international exposure is great to folks who would never come to the area without the tournament being here. Expanding it to two weeks creates many more patrons, along with the $200M in renovations will cement the facility as a top tennis destination for the foreseeable future.
  3. I have also heard from ex-TQL employees that they will let you go the day before you are owed an annual bonus so they do not have to pay it out, which is quite slimy.
  4. I feel like they publish some type of article like that every 6-12 months. Regardless of the conclusion in the article itself people read the headline and assume its unsafe.
  5. It is also good that this is an out of state developer. They likely have different sources of funding and know different possible tenants.
  6. It appears the 180 Walnut vacant pad was sold for $2.5M to Royal Walnut, LLC. Which has an address for Lincoln Property Company out of Dallas TX. https://lpcretail.com/
  7. I walked around F52 over the weekend and I was impressed with everything so far. It really drives home how poorly Oakley Station was planned and executed. Does anyone know what is being built in between Jeni's and Hi Wire? (Behind the outdoor stage). It looks like a 2 story building.
  8. Agreed - it would be better if it was 5th and 4th or 5th and 6th ... all on one street is chaos. You cannot navigate at all.
  9. That is a huge missed opportunity to put a single story bank branch on that corner.
  10. I very much hope the Tournament stays in Mason. On paper it probably makes more sense to stay in Mason, and there are a lot of reasons it should stay that have been discussed here. All of those reasons are negated by the ego and desires of a billionaire with money to spend. We will see how it plays out.
  11. I wonder how many peer cities have their county offices outside of the hub city of that county? It cant be that many..
  12. Not sure of the motivation behind it, but I definitely see them moving to Norwood. With the other moves it feels like the County is intentionally moving employees out of Cincinnati.
