  6. Hey man, Sorry to hear about this. I know how you feel, dream job and everything. Just keep trucking.
  7. I would say he should be tried for negligent homicide. I just hope that train doesn't go around any curves, did you see all the people BETWEEN the cars?
  8. I have to agree UncleRando, that was a good video.
  9. I should state here as I did on CU that I would like the building not to be torn down, sans the town street connection. I think the building is structurly sound and should be converted.
  10. Not a huge fan of the new idea. I would love to just have the park and not worry about the buildings, except the ones just north of the newly expanded town street and that is it. I would even say tear down part of the city center garage and put buildings there. Keep an open park between town street and rich street.
  11. It's called "They Gym at Carew Tower" original, I know. I went there a couple times. I want to get a membership there. I met with the head guy there. He's pretty cool.
  12. Nice pictures. As for there being an observation deck on the top of LeVeque, as already said before, no there is not one...but there used to be. My dad told me he used to take the bus downtown with his sister and they used to watch the prisoners labor away at the old Ohio State Penitentiary. I believe the former observation deck is now a penthouse, and last I heard, it was up for sale. I think it would be great to buy that penthouse and reopen the observation deck. As for the bridges criss-crossing the Scioto, I love the picture! Just too bad the water didn't look all that great. Sorry about the parking meter. I think they can actually be a deterrent to downtown business and this is a good example. There have been so many times that I have wanted to stay downtown but could not because I did not have enough change to park. I had to go eat elsewhere.
  13. It's probably because he finally saw just how much people actually want it.
  14. How does one do this full time? I would like to just be able to go to the gym, but can't seem to find the money. I have the time, but not the money. Anyway. Looking forward to seeing him at the Classic in 2010. I always wondered why they had to give themselves the fake tans. I always thought it made them look terrible. But if it helps them on stage with all the lights, then more power to them. David, any ideas on how I can get started at home. I don't really want to lose weight but add more bulk.
  15. Is there an online listing to this place that we can check out? This sounds like a very interesting, albeit unusual property.
  16. wow, so he wants to go further than just the streetcar system. That rocks!
  17. This is St Petersburg
  18. I like this guy already, and I just met him!

  23. You are right, Phoenix and Columbus are the only two major cities that don't have intercity rail. I knew it was something like that. Okay, so maybe we will by pass Phoenix in something.
