Cleveland: Downtown: Huntington Bank Field
I feel his hands are full from Detroit and the Riverfront. I would like for him to focus on making that the best thing possible. Now if Blitzer(?) wants to dip his hand in, that would be very welcomed.

North Collinwood and South Collinwood are two completely different sides. He caters to the former more than the latter and it shows. But agree to disagree, I don't want to take this off topic.

I thought about that too but I didn't know how much land was already accounted for

In reality the national acme site would be perfect but they'd never build in that neighborhood.

Eaton left 10+ years ago, Progressive deal fell through in the 90s-2000s and the Cleveland Browns situation is a vastly different reason, billionaire greed. Why are you on this URBAN site again? You hate the city.

What is the current funding gap?

Cleveland: I-X Center
That is an INSANE statistic.

So have zero benefit from a Fortune 100 company because you don't want to share a percentage of income. Got it.

Cleveland: I-X Center
Cleveland voted 13-2 to approve the new lease with an EMERGENCY ORDINANCE and they will reject the deal? That doesn't make sense.

Polensak doesn't like anything. Complete waste of a council seat.

Cleveland: I-X Center
Wow reading that article, Cleveland got a raw deal and Brook Park eats well. Polensek is worried about Haslam stealing the events once the I-X Center closes but I don't view that as an option. I feel like Huntington Convention Center is the natural option.

So a portion of this development will technically be in Cleveland.

Can someone explain why these streets have Cleveland signage though (Penrose and Forest Hills)? The streets next to these have East Cleveland signage.

Cleveland: I-X Center
Don't tease me with a good time, I did a little dance in my chair! Shifting conventions BACK downtown is always going to be a plus, but I have a question; since the renovation of Public Auditorium, is it strictly open for basketball only or can it serve as an annex for the convention center as well? Maybe additional space for a showroom floor.

Cleveland: Ohio City: Irishtown Bend Park
I think it's better for public use. There is plenty of opportunities to activate this half of West 25th with that dense retail and residential.

East Cleveland: Development and News
Well sorry to disappoint but the upcoming townhomes and the current homes they are building aren't brick but they look nice. What I found interesting is when I got to the end of the 2 blocks they had Cleveland signage.

Our Fire Department suddenly seems hell bent on requiring ridiculous alterations. I think the last one I remember was a building in Tremont requiring a large access point for them.

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
Heavy rail is a bigger train that can carry lots of people. It’s strong and fast, but it costs a lot of money to build because it needs special tracks—sometimes underground like a subway, or up high on bridges. Light rail is a smaller train that carries fewer people. It’s better for cities where not many people ride trains. It’s also cheaper to build because it can run on regular ground, like cars on a road.
