  1. When the city and county are on the same page positive things happen. I predicted this could be similar to a Chicago Bears situation.
  2. Looking at the aerials and seeing homes facing (Lindale?) makes me wish that the building with the Gateway 66 signage had windows at the ground floor. Also I feel that the mural still could have been included on the blank wall of the building to the right.
  3. That's true but moving from a Dean to a President (even if the school is small) is an opportunity that doesn't present itself often. It's like a Coordinator from a Super Bowl winning team leaving to become a head coach for a terrible NFL team, the opportunity doesn't come around often.
  4. Given CSU's instability I don't them.
  5. I wish I would've never looked back at the original design again lol.
  6. So what your saying is no Super Bowl but we are built for a Men's Final Four.
  7. This is probably that negative story he hinted at yesterday
  8. Cilantro? Where was the old fahrenheit space?
  9. When I worked on West 25th my coworker and I would always stop by there, it is absolutely amazing. With it being in a walkable dense area though I would imagine they benefit from a lot of takeout and door dash.
  10. I'm going to venture and guess that SOHO is moving to Tremont. Or if that one story building on 28th and Detroit is still empty I can see it moving there.
  11. Wait, the amount it cost in gas doesn't make that trip more expensive than just buying here? Your talking an extra $50-100 for gas.
  12. To be honest Cilantro Taqueria clears both, but that's not the point lol. In all seriousness I wish someone would go into that empty building, the small size of it makes for an interesting unique layout.
  13. If I remember correctly Mayfield Heights got the big prize. I wish Circle Square could've convinced them to be the anchor tenant for their still looming office building. It could've been tailored to their needs and possibly been bigger. Who knows though, maybe they will grow quickly and need new space in a few years.
  14. Going off of what was said on here. Take that up with them not me.
  15. Does the age of vehicles have an effect? I would imagine that while you can probably add gps tracking to older vehicles, having it built in and made to your specifications from the beginning would allow it to be more accurate. Since our buses are much newer than our trains I would venture to guess this is the reason.
  16. Are there rumors of anything going in here?
  17. Wait so residents denied Chipotle to build in an empty dilapidated building, the last one on that block, just to have them move into an occupied building across the street while that original building still sits empty and SOHO leaves that area. You can't make this up lol.
  18. I would love a building like this to be built on the warehouse district lot it would be fit in perfectly.
  19. I openly asked "what city is that?" when I first glanced at the first picture.
  20. Being a stadium that is built in the 70s gives it historical cache it is deemed as iconic so it won't go anywhere. The stadiums built in the 90s to now which most are won't have that same grace or iconic status. They are seen as more throwaways, the Superdome is almost as untouchable as Lambeau field or Wrigley.
  21. Like I said, it's an improvement for sure but they definitely value engineered the final interior design. Two things can be true at once in this situation.
  22. I think they mean tenant poaching regarding the retail portion of the development. I may be wrong.
  23. I rode down East 100th and Drove past 97th(?) street by the Clinic and counted the new homes (because I'm a nerd), that were recently completed or under construction and I counted around 30 new homes between the 2 streets. It was kind of mind blowing.
  24. I actually don't mind the large lettering, it definitely will be popular for graduation photos.
  25. Its hilarious because the final design looks NOTHING like the rendering (from what I see) and looks more similar to the Bialosky & Vines design with the interior just the Great Value version.
