  1. Would be perfect for a space like the old Tilted Kilt on Ontario and Prospect, that space is SCREAMING for attention.
  2. With the proximity to University Circle, Little Italy, Case Western Reserve, The Cultural Gardens, Cleveland Clinic and UH it is BAFFLING at the lack of investment in Glenville. It is borderline frustrating because in theory it doesn't make sense, it reality it does which is frustrating as well.
  3. Like I've always said. Stop the bleeding on the East Side and the city will grow.
  4. I mean the blue seats just look better especially since they are brand new.
  5. Closed for a private event on opening day is wild.
  6. This might be one of those things that looks better in person than in pictures. Now when it is featured on national TV you can argue that is a bad thing lol.
  7. Why won't RTA run the WFL on a normal schedule? It makes no Sense. If they only run it partially, it should at least be a late night train for the Flats.
  8. Also WWE Summerslam at the Browns stadium which is not as big as Wrestlemania but it is still a big draw.
  9. Isn't it a financial loss to host the Super Bowl? I read somewhere that host cities foot a massive bill for it.
  10. Are there any pictures available of the Rail car besides the stock photo? Also what is the significance of the 24th Car being built? I see it is listed on the timeline.
  11. Looks like it was built as planned.
  12. Well with all of that revenue he is bound to get he's gonna need it for stadium upkeep since the Sin Tax won't transfer over to Brookpark.
  13. He's probably tired of the games Haslam is playing as well as the back and forth.
  14. You create a vibrant downtown lakefront that is very active consistently similar to Navy Pier (which the Master Plan reminds me of in some ways) then you have businesses that benefit 7 days a week instead of 10 days out of 365. Will there be some adjustment needed? Yes but a successful urban core to me is one that thrives no matter the time of year.
  15. With Browns Stadium gone there is no doubt that the land it sits on will be a much more vibrant area. With that being said, the Browns hosting stadium shows Downtown has a much different feel that hosting stadium shows in a far away piece of land like Brookpark I'm not sure how attractive it will be to people to be honest. Another thing is there is no way that Brookpark can foot the bill like Cleveland can so that means Haslam will have to find the difference somewhere, be it his own pockets or the state. If he does go that route, him not being willing to do that in Cleveland to me shows that he is set on going to Brookpark and is disguising funding as a reason on why he wants to leave. One thing no one is talking about though is Berea is only 11 minutes away from Brookpark. Combine that with him buying land up in both areas and it all makes sense on why he is doing what he is doing.
  16. Two things stood out to me: “That just aligns with Dan’s vision. He’s always wanted to be downtown,” Altman said. “He thinks that the best cities have thriving downtowns. So he’s always been fascinated with the urban core to live, work and play.” He is preaching with that statement, love to hear it! The new facility was designed by the architecture firm Populous, which also designed Cleveland Browns Stadium more than 25 years ago. Boy they have come a LOOOOOOOOOONG way.
  17. I don't mind it, this is the fastest Cleveland has ever moved after a Press Conference lol. All jokes aside, it is somewhat embarrassing how long it took for the jersey barriers to be removed especially after seeing them pick up the barriers and remove them in 60 seconds.
  18. The 800 Superior Garage being demolished could be a blessing in disguise. Tearing it down and rebuilding it to support a vertical addition would also allow it to have retail/commercial spaces that front Vincent Ave. Seeing what Vincent was and what it is now is insane. It is time to reactivate our streets like this.
  19. I heard that there is more coming down the pipeline for Millennia and it's not good.
  20. As long as the original structure still stands I'm fine with it.
  21. I find it so strange that Macy's opposed adding apartments to the development and have since the original agreement in 2003. Why wouldn't you want more people near your business that could support it due to its close proximity? Everyone knows they could use it.
  22. Features that pay homage to the city and area's past is pretty cool. I especially love the front door feature.
  23. Making progress on the apartments in 125th street.
