That headline bothers me so much. The cemetery portion seems like a negative spin. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

That alley would be amazing if it could be reactivated as a pedestrian only space. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
I think the most baffling thing imo is the Waterfront Line closing down at 7 PM when the flats east bank just started to take off. Parking during busy times can suck and I have had plenty of times when I wanted to take the train. Yes train ridership struggled in the beginning of the FEB lifespan but as people got used to it and realized the headache it can be to get down there I'm sure it would've grown. Is there enough space for a Dave and Busters or some sort of similar attraction here? I think with such a large mix of uses and in such a dead but vital corridor in the city, a Dave and Busters, an attraction that draws families, friends, adults and kids would boom here. Access wouldn't be an issue, and if it could be accessed from the street level that's even better. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

Nope. The dust adds to the gritty, rust belt, blue collar feel of Cleveland that people love so much. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

82 percent office occupancy is impressive. I'm sure those account for Hybrid workers though. I'd be interested to see which days are the busiest for office workers. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

Cleveland: Ohio City: Irishtown Bend Park
Bedrock is proposing a space for kayaking without having an actual beach so it's possible. I feel that Edgewater while popular is still not fully utilized and is easily accessible from both sides of town. Also I believe KJP mentioned it but I'd rather them reinvigorate Gordon Park to the east with a beach first versus here. The lakefront can still offer a space for kayaking while still activating the lakefront with something else besides a beach. But we can continue this conversation in the lakefront thread. To be honest, with this much riverfront development, that beach on the Lakefront looks more and more useless. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

The West Bank of the Flats is basically a giant parking lot. They could've started building without tearing this down. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

Never realized how much more slender that building is versus The Beacon. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

This picture made me realize how much the Irishtown Bend PLUS Bedrocks riverfront development will extend and activate the riverfront. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

If they were to build a mid rise hopefully it takes the form of the (Soon to be former) E&Y building in the flats. A hotel of similar size to the Aloft would fit the surrounding buildings with a building the size of the E&Y building would be the best of worlds . Too bad there is no room for that. The city really approved this? Unbelievable. On second thought, it's Cleveland, it's very believable. That building would have been a great residential conversion. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

Yeah that was an extremely basic survey. I used the space reserved for typing to input other ideas I have for the lakefront. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

This picture makes me hesitant on such a heavy focus on a beach area. I feel that in the winter that it will be dead unless the winter programming is stellar. I would like to see a mid rise buildings with multipurpose uses at the bottom on the empty lot around the stadium with a building similar to the building on Chicago's Navy Pier in the middle. (It is one larger building that contains souvenir shops and restaurants.) That building could be used year round and have souvenirs for the Mather, Great Lakes Science Center, Rock Hall etc. The building would open up to a board walk similar in design to the Flats East Bank that could *potentially* open up to the waterfront depending on space As far as the side that faces the Mather ship, It could contain the outdoor uses/a pocket park with seating etc. (The Ferris wheel would be a bonus lol). Do you all think the "Future Tower" for this development is the eventual shift of workers from Minneapolis and the Valspar headquarters? Maybe what's taking them a while to move them is some leasing obligations they have. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

National media outlets only know 2 shots. This angle and The "Long Live Rock" sign at the Rock Hall. They throw in an aerial shot of the Rock Hall for a little razzle dazzle. It's annoying lol. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk
