  2. I took it and picked choice 2, it's the only logical choice remaining. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk
  3. Maybe they’ll put a giant globe with a rotating spaceship there. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Bummer. I actually like the old design posted above. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  5. This angle is amazing! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. The last paragraph made a very good point. Workforce issues could easily be solved if we were more efficient with getting immigrants trained and placed into the workforce. https://www.cleveland19.com/2023/06/07/cleveland-city-council-member-asks-help-with-new-immigrants/ Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

  8. I find it INSANE that the Vikings beautiful dome stadium cost "only" 1.1 Billion in 2016 and now 1.5 billion only gets you an open air, relatively plain stadium. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk
  9. I thought this was interesting and could be a model for how Cleveland can handle its stadium redevelopment costs. https://frontofficesports.com/vikings-minnesota-pay-off-stadium-debt-23-years-early/?utm_medium=social&utm_source=twitter&utm_campaign=article-sharing Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk
  10. Think about it Chicago turned a BEAN into a world attraction. A BEAN!!! Lol Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk
  11. We need more attractions like this throughout Downtown. Before they approved it, the planning commission applauded it for something that will be a sort of attraction and said people will want to take pictures with. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk
  12. Sometimes gimmicky is good. It will draw people to want to take pictures with it. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk
  13. No lol what I was saying was stores like city Targets activate streets as in the street it sits on and allows it to grow. My point was we can use impactful retail like City Target on our other main streets to create a robust and active downtown as they serve as an anchor, creating a spinoff of diverse retail on the streets they sit on. 14. After watching their presentation, this building can hopefully set the precedent for CC moving into the future. A focus on integration of the surrounding community will really activate that street and if successful, it should be the standard going forward. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk
  15. Bummer. I'm assuming they were reduced to fit better with the surrounding environment? Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk
  16. Isn't this the building that was supposed to be a mid rise? Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk
  17. I feel like having "anchor" retail like City Target reactivates other streets and brings them back to life. I feel like each major downtown street deserves retail attention. Euclid has retail and the foot traffic, St.Clair, Superior and other streets are dead zones. If retail (Food, shopping etc.) Should only be concentrated on Euclid in your opinion how would you reactivate the other major streets? Solely relying on apartments aren't effective if they have nowhere to go. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk
  18. What about our shiny new parking garage opened with over 600 readily available parking spots? It sits on the corner of a busy intersection (prospect and Ontario), is across from the casino, surrounded by new apartments and has ample available retail space. I'm tired of Euclid being the defacto street for things. That street has stabilized and grown, it's time for the rest of downtown. Plus it doesn't really have the space for a city target, I doubt Centennial is a realistic option. Also while I think Tower City is an amazing idea (I think small format big box stores on the first floor with local retail on the second floor would be a smash hit) I think it's treated as an after thought too much right now for it to be successful there. 19. They park down there my biggest worry is why we can't get them out of the office or get residents out of their homes to walk around. 65,000-70,000 people plus tourists still should equal decent foot traffic. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk
  20. I actually loved the compactness of this and felt it was more on-par for our ridership levels. I do love the overall big city feel of the existing station and would definitely miss it lol Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

  22. So recently I had a random dream. I dreamt that we had an all new glass building similar to the Hilton on Public Square, on 55 PS site but at a better angle facing the Terminal Tower side on the square. The building had the ability to project images on the glass facade and would be used as a giant movie screen and people would gather on Public Square and watch. Obviously that is not viable at all but made me wonder why we don't do frequent movie nights on the square during the summer or something similar. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk
  23. Is this the most impactful building from the street level out of all of the new builds on Euclid? (Lumen, Beacon) Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk
  24. Since Artist are moving in this will be the next hot area based on trends Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  25. They are laying down new bike lane markers on West 65th. They'll include a picture of a bike I just missed those because I didn't know these were so new lol. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk
