"Easiest and cheapest" is literally the reason Browns Stadium is in the condition it is now. I preferred building new at the 17th Street site to reactivate an area that needs it. If you're going to redo a stadium do it right. It's not like the Browns Stadium is at risk of collapsing at any moment. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

I'm just excited that they are putting curb cut-outs along Chester instead of either making its own street (the townhomes on chester) or giving it major setback with a mini-parking lot (10001/Innova). Jeez Chester is home to some of the worst site plans when you think about it. Edit: Nevermind looking at it again, the curb cutout is along East 82nd.

Same design or has something changed due to the pushback it received? Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

With renovations that are extensive to the point that “it won’t look anything like it does now”, can't they add some sort of outdoor retail or anything to the exterior that would make it usable in some fashion besides football? The spaces could be designed to blend in with the vision of added other apartments down there as well Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

County Jail News. It may not be major but it's a little interesting. https://www.cleveland.com/news/2023/04/cuyahoga-county-planning-key-upgrades-to-existing-jail-while-finalizing-plans-for-new-facility.html Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

Regarding the development of First Energy Stadium oop.... Cleveland Browns Stadium, couldn't they do an addition to it like Rocket Mortgage Fieldhouse? I know it may be tougher due to the street separating the stadium from the site where the former Warehouses sat but harder architectural feats have been accomplished. The addition could house retail or other year round uses for the stadium. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

Maybe if we change it back to "Cleveland Municipal Stadium" we'll have the success they had on the field back then [emoji24][emoji23]. Seriously though I don't want a corporate name but maybe Sherwin Williams Stadium or Cleveland Cliffs Field. KeyBank isn't doing the hottest right now to enter naming rights. Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
A lot of that sounds good, one thing I noticed is that they still have fare boxes on the train for the blue/green line. With a unified system, wouldn't it make more sense to have a full POP system? The farebox system slows things down. Also I do agree that it would make more sense to make all platforms and stations high level, especially for events, those Browns games get PACKED and only being able to leave out of select doors would be a nightmare.

That's what I was thinking. I mentioned that they should do at least a weekend, preferably a week, of free rail service to show people the new flexibility and reliability of the new rail system. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

Selling so fast at these price points is encouraging. Also I really do love this site plan. Are these best designed townhomes? No. But this very solid DENSE infill. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

Cleveland. Com mentions a $7 million shortfall and that RTA is banking on money from the infrastructure bill coming through. The article mentioned that if the money doesn't come through they'll have to scale back. https://www.cleveland.com/news/2023/04/rta-selects-maker-for-new-railcar-fleet-funding-still-uncertain.html Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

My only gripe with the new trains is the seating arrangement. I simply prefer longitudinal seating, it makes more sense that side by side. Sent from my Pixel 7 using Tapatalk

Cleveland: Downtown: Tower at Erieview & Galleria Renovation
I never understand why when something like this happens no one else steps in. Clearly there is interest in the market. Has Bridgeworks secured a hotel brand for their development? This also could be perfect for the hotel portion of the Circle Square development as well.
