  1. Jesus that’s majority of the shops that opened. Maybe it’s time they shift their focus to more recognizable brands again. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. The new ones that just opened? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Are there ground floor retail spaces attached to the landmark building? Speaking of which, if Gilbert is enamored with outdoor retail shopping, why hasn’t he filled the ones on prospect? Right behind Tower city aka close to the train station, literally the final stop for multiple bus routes, next to a high end hotel, and on the same street as his casino. Seems like the perfect place to jumpstart this area he is trying to build up. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  4. Regarding the plan to remove part of the Avenue mall. They are essentially makin retail space smaller inside of Tower city and replacing them with more outdoor retail correct? I feel like my confusion is what stores would that effect? Is that the section that contains the fountain? The second floor section that now houses the Cavs team shop, Jaxons closet etc? 5. I do find it interesting that this neighborhood was renamed to the Superior ARTS District but ever since then artist are being bounced from each building slowly. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. You said this as a joke but I have longed believed that in order for our region to be competitive we need to be one region and combine our resources together rather than poach and compete with each other. Columbus and Indy are examples that come to mind. The days of people flocking to our region due to a large availability of jobs, allowing every city to succeed in their own way are over. 9. As of this year the Average attendance is 21,006 with the highest attendance being Atlanta at 47,116. The Columbus crew averages 19,237 and Cincy is at 22,487. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. The reason I don’t agree with more parks is because when don’t even know how to properly utilize the current ones we have. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. I’m was thinking of this. I know Wolstein is a great alternative for events compared to the more expensive and sometimes too large rocket mortgage field house, such a larger wrestling events, music concerts etc. I definitely believe that having a second arena the size of wolstein was seen as a major bonus when hosting the all star game last year as well as they held overlapping events in both arenas. 12. With how long and wide those medians are can they be converted to bus stop’s similar to the health line and have BRT Lite going down the middle? Or what about the midway concept for Superior going down Chester instead and the third lane being a bus only lane similar to the CSU Line? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  13. While I see your stance I’ll respectfully have to disagree with this take. If you make a neighborhood or area desirable enough people will flock and want to be apart of it. Also what good is having people downtown when they don’t have to step foot on a city street to enjoy it? Look at the Casino, so many people visit but you’d never know because they don’t have to go outside. You (not specifically you) can use the crime slant every time but so many people use it that it becomes a cheap reason. More eyes on the street makes crime less likely than a dark desolate street with no one there to serve as a witness. The most vibrant urban areas are vibrant because they create areas that are desirable and people WANT to be apart of it and they don’t have skywalks to let people hide from the urban fabric. 14. Please no major CSU setbacks and please please please, I hope that won't be able to keep that skywalk shown in the picture.
  15. I have been thinking, no matter how many buildings get built on Chester it will never feel like a true urban street, rather a thoroughfare due to how the street is constructed. So many buildings on Chester, most notably Upper Chester impact is lessened (to me) due to its setback from the street and the secondary "road" built to serve residents and retail customers. I do like that this provides a few curb cutouts to allow parking on Chester but this needs to be done more if a brand new streetscape isn't in the cards.
  16. I do wish there were better photos on the actually building. The angles we are given are disappointing.
  17. One way to have high rises blend in with each other is to build more high rises. It’ll all blend in soon enough. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. This is exactly what I was thinking.
  19. A Cleveland version on Chicago’s Navy Pier would be fantastic here. I do feel like any closing and redevelopment of Burke would need to include more access points for pedestrians. It’s kind of isolated and limited right now. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Have you seen the SHW site lately? The signage is everywhere lol Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  23. I read somewhere that Cleveland Clinic wanted to go taller but the Fairfax residents were against it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  24. Sometimes National chains are beneficial. They carry name recognition, consistent hours and have the money. Not everything needs to be local. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
