Cleveland: Filling in Euclid Avenue
Downtown Cleveland to Get Five Iron Golf Simulator, Restaurant and Bar We can soon add Five Iron Golf to Northeast Ohio's growing collection of golf simulator entertainment concepts. The new venture will join ProXimity Golf Lounge in Cleveland Heights, the recently opened West Bank Golf Club in the Tank West Bank in the Flats, and others. The Cleveland spot will be the company's second in Ohio and seventh in the Midwest, with more planned for the region. Five Iron has signed a lease for a 16,000-square-foot street-level space in the new Euclid Grand (1101 Euclid Ave.) complex downtown. The New York-based company, which launched in 2017 and has grown to a collection of 13 locations across eight cities, is considered one of the leading indoor golf and entertainment experiences around. https://www.clevescene.com/food-drink/downtown-cleveland-to-get-five-iron-golf-simulator-restaurant-and-bar-38969438?media=AMP+HTML Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cleveland: Downtown: Sherwin-Williams Headquarters
This mindset leads to bad design continuously being accepted. Imagine if people on the planning commission had this mindset for other projects we’ve seen with bad design such as Geis’ project in duck island. We’d be one ugly looking city. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cleveland: University Circle: Uptown (UARD)
Three things. 1. Now leasing signs are finally up for the Cleveland Co. Space, hopefully that leases soon. 2. The Vietnamese Cafe is almost up and running and is taking delivery orders right now. 3. The Jimmy Johns is now officially closed. No signage and the advertisement is ripped from the windows. Vacancies are starting to add up (I know Barnes and Nobles moved but their old spot is so large and visible) I hope MRN can weather the storm. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cleveland: University Circle: Circle Square
Yeah I looked it up again and it does look like mesh. I actually didn’t even notice the tower went through a slight redesign lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Speaking of which if I remember correctly that is getting wrapped in glass correct?

Cleveland: University Circle: Circle Square
May be an unpopular opinion but even though Circle Square will be larger, as I look at One UC it comes off as a more striking and substantial design . Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

One thing about Beachwood Place is they are good at attracting stores that are the first of its kind in Ohio (Zara, H&M Home etc.) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Wait they have an agreement to develop the land near East 55th train station as another warehouse??

Cleveland Burke Lakefront Airport
I respectfully disagree about not using the land for mixed use development. Lakefronts and lakefront access is something that is a luxury and isn’t available everywhere and it needs to be recognized as such. The land needs to be redesigned to be an extension of north coast harbor. It needs to be made into an overall attraction that will garner interest and traffic from tourist and residents with world class design. My ultimate vision would be something like District Wharf in Washington D.C (pictured above), containing a king boardwalk lined with residential and restaurants/shopping. If not this I would like to see something similar to the Navy Pier in Chicago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cleveland Heights: Development and News
Cleveland Heights has the best overall housing stock in the area. The amount of massive historical brick homes, apartment buildings and Tudor style buildings they still possess is amazing. It’s something I wish Cleveland would have worked harder to save but I fear it’s beginning to be too late. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

RTA needs to get their SMART card system together. Being able to simple pay with your wallet app on your iPhone like you can in DC, Chicago, NYC etc. is something that will speed up boarding times as well. People are familiar with the wallet app, most people have iPhones and it doesn’t require an extra download. I believe this would get more usage than an ez fare app. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cleveland: Midtown: Development and News
The combination of both indoor and outdoor cuisine would be pretty cool, especially since we aren’t warm year round like Houston which had a midtown food truck park but it was strictly outdoors. It allows it to be an all year attraction. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Cleveland: Midtown: Development and News
So you replied. But instead of answering the question you were ignorant. I googled the same thing and got parks from Houston and saw their plans but the Cleveland story from biz journal was vague and didn’t provide details. The parks could vary by city but I thought that was common sense. If I ask on here that means I couldn’t find the answer on google… Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

That reason for Starbucks closing literally came from the employees mouth, it was what they were told.

You are probably talking about the Nordstrom wing which has the Microsoft Store empty (which may be due to them suddenly closing and still having a lease obligation), the Justice space and I believe another. The first two are large spaces, giving off a more barren feel. The other stores over there also don’t draw a lot of traffic versus the 2 other wings. As far as I was told, the Starbucks space is empty because they chose to leave due to “safety issues” for their baristas. They still had a lease and are still honoring it and paying their rent. (It also may be to prevent competition from opening in that space). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

It honestly baffled me that the waterfront line began to stop running late night through the East Bank of the flats (I believe it’s 7pm) so early in the neighborhoods new existence. I understand that initially ridership wasn’t there when it ran late at night, but as the popularity increased in the neighborhood (gridlocked traffic on the weekends), I would’ve expected the Waterfront line to serve as relief. It is one of the few stations that sit directly in the middle of the action and I feel that not activating the late night service again was a mistake. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
