  1. That's actually where I was getting at. My thing is what would you turn it into while still allowing people to flow through it that would be coming from the Q or Progressive field while not treating that new use as simply a pass through. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  2. Wasn't there supposed to be something else designated for the food court space which is why it looks unfinished? If so what was it?
  3. Sent my email. I requested the sides of the development (office building and parking garage) that touch the sidewalk (West 3rd, Superior, Frankfort) have uses that are accessible to the public. I said in the email "if Cleveland is to take that next leap in it's future and compete with cities of it's size they can't repeat mistakes from their past". I mentioned how we have enough highrises with dead zones and we don't need another. I also mentioned how Cleveland was trying to have as little dead zones as possible with this new zoning overlay and how this is the perfect development to set the tone of that with. 4. What is this that is getting built on 79th and Carnegie Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  5. "The building blocks the views of our historic warehouse district buildings, please lower it to 2 stories" Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  6. Any word on the progress of this project?
  7. How did we even maintain the "Forest City" nickname in the early 1900s lol. There are NO TREES!
  8. This looks a lot more cool than the current iteration. It looks just so organic and active.
  9. When they said they're gonna move fast they meant it lol. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  10. When are these scheduled to open?
  11. I too would like to contribute to this thread!
  12. Sooooooooo a perfect reason to expand is having Valspar come over. I figured this would have been the perfect chance to combine the two companies, are they doing that?
  13. Build the useful buildings people will come and they will stay. Honestly University Circle is the neighborhood that has a ton of green space and they do a good job of mixing it with the buildings. If they are going to do green space they should meet with UCI to get ideas on how to properly do it. UC is literally the perfect neighborhood to refer to, this is awful.
  14. Did someone post this yet? Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  15. I see a parking garage lined with retail! EDIT: Is it only west 3rd lined with retail? Also is it unheard of for the city in agreement to vacate Frankfort that the "future expansion" has to be completed or progress has to be made by a certain time? I just hope the SHW doesn't put it in their plans just to please the city in order to get what they want just to go against it later on. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  16. My question is if the City stands firm on their zoning overlay and doesn't vacate Frankfurt would SHW really throw everything away and start over? Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  17. What is the ultimate vision for Midtown? Is it a "live, work, play" type of neighborhood? Sometimes I feel that developments are all over the place. I'm happy to see them but it doesn't seem cohesive to me.
  18. They really should look at the third district police station for inspiration. I like how it's built to the street.
  19. Wow that's fast Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  20. Ahhh I do recall him saying that. My apologies. Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  21. The former AT&T building on lakeside, doesn't that sit mostly empty? Isn't there also garage for parking? Sent from my Pixel 4 XL using Tapatalk
  22. Probably just gonna use the curtain system like they use for CSU Basketball. Could see an attendance bump though by moving them into Cleveland area.
  23. I’m not really a fan of restaurants being inside of Buildings instead of on the street but if it’s an improvement for these restaurants good for them.
