  1. They said that they are micro apartments so that makes sense.
  2. It made me do a double take ???
  3. I thought this was my picture at first ???
  4. Please god no.
  5. Clevelander here, I agree with the above sentiment. Whenever I am in Sheetz territory I definitely stop there before anywhere else for gas and snacks. Sheetz was there for me in college when I had late night trips from Cleveland back to Kent and everywhere else was closed, I can never turn my back!
  6. Depending on the success of the Beachwood Place location, I feel this would be the perfect location for an H&M home due to all the new and recently completed construction.
  7. They would be foolish to deny the abatement and kill this project. This is a transformative project for Richmond and if successful could lead to spinoffs around an area that has definitely seen better days.
  8. Wait is it really his first Downtown restaurant? The flats don't count as Downtown?
  9. What crap?
  10. How much continuous land is available? I would imagine less than the amount Sherwin-Williams was looking for.
  11. During construction FOR THE LOVE OF GOD the city needs to take away those parking restrictions for the street.
  12. More store photos
  13. Piggybacking off that comment I took a couple of pictures. This is a HUGE chunk of space it has to be both stores. I'd imagine the clothing at the top looking like the Crocker Park store and H&M Home at the bottom. It makes sense to place it next to a department store as well. My predictions were right! ?
  14. Okay understood! Thank you for the explanation I am a major fan of how Columbus is building its new developments and also the materials chosen. It seems most of them are brick or mimick the surrounding buildings to blend well, very timeless designs.
  15. Hello Clevelander here, looking through these threads I have a question. Does the city of Columbus have parking requirements for its new buildings? Looking at these buildings they are built to the street but I don't see any parking with them. Is the parking underground?
  16. I will never understand the panhandling complaint when it comes to busy urban environments. It comes with the territory when there are 100,000 plus people Downtown everyday. Those people have money and the panhandlers have very little so they'll be there. IMO that speaks more towards the problems with the country than anything. Panhandlers in city Downtowns are like Hobo's on the freight lines it's ingrained in Urban culture and people know that. Tell them no and keep moving, I do it all the time.
  17. Side note it is amazing how fast cities around the country went downhill after the 1950s. It makes me a little sad.
  18. I hope that the owner of the land on Scranton Peninsula, missed the email they sent them about developing on their land. I say this because I hope he feels like COMPLETE SH*T for missing this opportunity. YOU HAD SHERWIN FREAKIN WILLIAMS TRYING TO DEVELOP ON YOUR LAND!!! A FREAKING FORTUNE 500 COMPANY WITH DEEP POCKETS THAT IS CLIMBING TOWARDS FORTUNE 100!!! IT DOESN'T GET BETTER THAN THAT!!
  19. I see the empty lots next to it, hopefully it spurs more residential development with NO PARKING REQUIREMENTS..........one can dream.
  20. So that would mean if SHW wants to build on the lots that they have to get variances if they don't want to include retail?
  21. I just hope that the city planning doesn't get scared to make recommendations in fear of upsetting their biggest corporate company.
  22. Renovation of history instead of destruction of history! You love to see it!
  23. I wouldn't be surprised and would be very happy if Sherwin Built their parking garage similar to 515 Euclid. Have retail usage at the bottom but have the garage be able to be built upon for future expansion.
