  1. My problem isn't the bridge itself it's that the bridge is ugly.

  3. Looking at the picture, is there no retail? This stretch of Euclid already has missing retail space in buildings, hopefully it is some in this development. Even if it doesn't fill immediately the space is there to fill when the demand rises. I love everything else in this development.
  4. Buy the land, sit on it, raze it when you have something solidified.
  5. I'd assume it would take a feel of Battery Park a somewhat isolated feel with a couple of eatery's or bars.

  8. This is one of the better ugly buildings. I don't see why they have gone with this theme for their recent buildings instead of the glass design like the J building.

  10. It faces the street you can see the construction through the window, the access is through barnes and noble though. The store sits in front of the window by the street right next to Dunkin. I'll try to take a picture later on today.
  11. It's connected to the Barnes and Nobles it's not a big space at all. Typically the ones that cater to students.
  12. I feel like adding an attraction like Navy Pier in Chicago on a closed BKL would be a nice way to reuse the land. Adds activity over there and becomes a destination.
  13. If I'm not mistaken that's what the construction at the corner by Constantino's is. Correct me if I'm wrong. Edit: Ahhhhhh it being called Uptown 3 in the renderings confused me.
  14. Does anyone know if Cities with rail systems collaborate with Uber and Lyft and offer a discount or bundle deal for riding both and basically using Lyft or Uber as a connector?
  15. I think Uptown is starting to hit its stride with national retailers. Verizon, the small Apple Store addition now Chase Bank. Makes me excited to see what Phase 3 will have.
  16. Starks track record of getting developments off the ground at least Downtown is spotty at best. I wouldn't hold my breath that it gets filled soon.
  17. Honestly this would have been a major boost for Mid-Town with it being a "Health-Tech" corridor.

  19. A small addition to the retail in Uptown but they are building a small Apple Store inside of the Barnes & Noble.
  20. One thing I noticed from the MLB All Star game, no one I talked to really left Downtown Cleveland the ENTIRE weekend. I asked each person the same question "have you explored the city outside of Downtown?" They respond with "well we visited the Rock Hall" multiple times lol. I said "have you checked out University Circle, Ohio City, Tremont, etc." They respond with "no where is that at" or "no where should I go?" I feel that the tourism sector of our city dropped the ball in opening up the city to tourist and being available on the street giving info on other areas outside of Downtown to explore. A real shame too, based on the momentum of the aforementioned neighborhoods.

  23. That's EXACTLY what I remember ? I think that era of Tower City could do pretty decent in today's downtown climate.
  24. 26, my memories of Tower City start post 2001 so after Dillards, I didn't know it was even called the Avenue until I worked there in 2011.
  25. I don't I only remember Tower City interior as the retail area. What stores were in the storefronts of the second picture? I agree about the connection and that is why I love the choice to move stores to Prospect, it definitely bridges a gap from the WHD and East 4th Street. Combine that with the rumored streetscape re-do of this area of Prospect and we have a winner. I know there are multiple empty storefronts lining the complex but since Prospect was only mentioned in KJP's story (for now at least) I wasn't to sure about the chances of those getting filled.
