  2. The trees on the roof was a dead giveaway. ;) Actually I was taking a picture of the shell of that building. I saw that nearer site was a NEORD project. Any idea what that shell was used for and why it is still there? I thought you figured the fencing was for a development but I see why you photographed it now lol. No one that I talked to knows what that is but the councilman has plans to demolish it. He initially set aside money for it to be torn down but used it to demolish the large structure that is now a vacant lot across the street from it instead. The reason they did that from what I was told was that it was a larger blighted structure aka a bigger eyesore. My personal view is that it is a bigger piece of land to free up for later development as well.   3. This really isn't a development, this is just the Sewer project taking up more space, they also have two more lots getting ready to be taken up around 114th and Superior.
  4. If you're talking about the twin housing across from Finch Groups apartments, those are the Fisher houses. Basically the Military Vet equivalent to the Ronald McDonalds house. It actually looks like they rotated the front door to face the street compared to the old plan (I hope).

  6. My biggest gripe is I wish that they would have updated Gateway Plaza. It still looks outdated and a revamp could've really livened that space.

  8. Terminal Tower/ Tower City Center is the most impressive building I've ever seen, from both a design and engineering standpoint. So much thought went into this structure and its layout. I LOVE the entire center and I can't state that enough.
  9. I have a source, a very reliable source that tells me that the city has struck a deal to buy the building housing Superior Pizza at the corner of East 105th and Superior. The plan from what they told me was to demolish the building and build offices with ground floor retail. It also may include a dentist office in there and will be built up to the street.
  10. A Nike store is actually a great idea, it's retail for one, adding traffic to the area and Nike stores are few and far between so it will be a draw to the area. I thought so too. I am failing to see what is wrong with this. The only thing with me is I would've imagined if a Nike store came, it would be in an area more developed like in a new build such as The Quarter.

  12. As I mentioned previously, the space next to Potbelly had construction going on but I could never stop to see what it was for, well now I know. It appears that the mysterious "cell phone company" is Verizon.   13. This building feels huge as is but I'm curious as to what the street presence would've been before the major cutbacks.

  16. I like these townhomes a lot, both with design and street presence, I'm just curious about how these designs will look in 10+ years and that goes for all of these similarly designed townhomes with both materials and overall design. Right now though I'm in love with the progress in the area.
  17. So according to the website, the building is going to be 29 stories. I wasn't aware that the garage added that much more to the building. Also when this building tops out we can use it as a measuring stick for the PHS tower. This tower is 355' and the PHS tower is 396'.
  18. This site states that Downtown Cleveland had a population of 9,098 back in 2015. So the downtown population exploded by 6,000 in 3 years? I guess that's not too unbelievable.   21. Anyone know what's going into that space next to BiBiBop? I believe it was the old First Merit space. Every time I come from work I see the dumpster out and a crew inside clearing the space out, but no "coming soon" sign.

  25. Maybe that 80,000 sf of retail planned for the May Co. building can be used for something like this. Next to rail, directly across from the Healthline stop and diagonal from public square.
