Richmond Heights: Belle Oaks (Richmond Town Square Redevelopment)
Ah okay. Well I'm glad this one is opening, I will be shopping here often given the uhhhhhhh policy changes of others.

Cleveland: University Circle (General): Development and News
Fingers crossed lol. University Circle, especially this section (including Circle Square), really is transforming into our Midtown Atlanta, Uptown Charlotte etc. a very vibrant, diverse neighborhood that rivals the density of Downtown.

Richmond Heights: Belle Oaks (Richmond Town Square Redevelopment)
This is the first one within Cuyahoga County correct?

Cleveland Heights: Development and News
Lakewood, which to me is the West Side version of Cleveland Heights (Density/Walkability, Diverse Community, etc.) should really be looking at Cleveland Heights on how to build and attract future developments/redevelopments. I love what Cleveland Heights has done with their recent developments.

When does that Meijer's open?

Cleveland: University Circle (General): Development and News
My hope was that Canon grows quickly and they build a 10-15 story mixed use (office and residential) building right by here.

Brook Park: New Cleveland Browns Stadium
This video explains perfectly why want Haslam is saying about a Super Bowl isn't worth the paper it's written on. https://youtu.be/3hxss3f5yfc?si=d-MAtc7LMQpbXMA7

Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
I think the biggest difference is this exist within close proximity to city neighborhoods. This could lead to redevelopment of adjacent properties, re-invigorating the surrounding area and creating a multi-use multipurpose area. So extending the WFL would lead to access to the stadium yes but could be one of the few rapid stops that sits in close proximity to a dense destination neighborhood.

A model for transit and economic growth: Greater Cleveland RTA's HealthLine https://www.wkyc.com/article/news/local/cleveland/greater-cleveland-rtas-healthline-model-for-transit-economic-growth/95-166e3885-fee1-4833-97b7-78b49ba35b28 This story is the transit equivalent of the jock that peaked in high school and can't let go of old memories.

Greater Cincinnati Metro (SORTA) and TANK News & Discussion
GCRTA Bus Rapid Transit (Healthline and Cleveland State Line) numbers are "up" to 2.1 Million. The reason I added quotations is because the Healthline alone had 4.2 Million riders in 2017 but has steadily declined. No Signal prioritization, no all door boarding anymore (had it in the beginning) and a 15 Minute frequency can be pointed at as reasons for the decline. Hopefully Cincinnati can avoid these issues because the Healthline is just an expensive version of the regular bus it replaced now. https://www.cleveland.com/news/2025/02/cleveland-rtas-ridership-rebound-whats-behind-the-numbers.html

Cleveland: Lakefront Development and News
Eh. With a stadium here you could build that mixed use neighborhood, attract local bars and restaurants to open up here using existing buildings and boom you have a walkable attractive neighborhood. Extend the WFL line here and we're cooking.

Cleveland: Downtown: Progressive Field
I think they did a great job of righting their wrongs. The only thing that I would consider tacky would be the progressive signs but that may be more of Progressive's doing's more than the Guardians.

Shaker Heights: Van Aken District Transit Oriented Development
In a perfect world that would be amazing but is that actually something that would be in the cards? lol.

Shaker Heights: Van Aken District Transit Oriented Development
Don't yell at me but now that it is done I don't like the fit with the surrounding area. It would be perfect in UC or Downtown/Flats.

Cleveland: St. Clair-Superior (non-Asiatown): Development and News
This just reminded me of the lighting situation. Hopefully they have at least lights on the ground to light the path up.

Cleveland: St. Clair-Superior (non-Asiatown): Development and News
Lets be honest, parking is nowhere close to being a problem on Superior. Even with the parking spots being gone, the off street parking is more than enough to support the current demand. I think we are making a big deal out of nothing with this potential situation. My big fear is it will become watered down because everyone in the "community" (I use that extremely loosely) wants to have their views implemented.

Cleveland: University Circle (General): Development and News
Yeah UH is smaller but I feel that if it was spread out like Cleveland Clinic is it wouldn't look nearly as small. UH is very densely packed.

Brook Park: New Cleveland Browns Stadium
With all of this funding uncertainty municipalities are facing this is the ABSOLUTE WORST TIME to be asking for public dollars. It's actually hilarious he is in the situation based on who he supports politically.

Cleveland: Random Development and News
Yeah they changed it pretty quick lol. I hate how small it looks though 😭

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
Wait you can tap your credit card directly? If so I wish they would have just purchased fare gates that had tap to pay implemented to make it more obvious.
-
Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
I would prefer the more modern version but this would kill 2 birds with one stone.

Greater Cleveland RTA News & Discussion
New train cars should have ambassadors on in with a tap to pay system by the doorways for those who purchased a ticket through the app to scan their phones. Speaking of the app I miss the old RTA app, this combined app is clunky.
