Columbus: Italian Village Developments and News
Yea, disappointed there's nothing facing 4th. I think I can understand not having anything on the southern portion, but most of 4th should be lined with a building.

Columbus: Scioto Peninsula Developments and News
I'd rather have this too, but the city would probably have to throw as much money at it as merchant tower to get it built, which is something obscene like $70M+. That I don't support.

Half the siding and panels look wavy as well. Must have gone with the cheapest bid on this one.

Haha just thinly spray painted at that. But the commission will have no complaints.

Columbus: Near East Side / King-Lincoln / Olde Towne East Developments and News
Admittedly, not my area, but if you bid $2.2M which would have made you the highest bid, how would you not have won the auction and thus the building? Isnt an auction binding, usually they require proof of funding before you can even bid above certain levels so they know bidders are serious. Genuinely, don't understand.

Columbus: Franklinton Developments and News
Today, after 20 years in Columbus I learned there is a theater in what I thought was just a state office building. So yes, not super visible, is there a marquee or anything outside? Maybe I'm just that oblivious...

Hilliard: Developments and News
Wowza that's a hot take. Bridge Park is really well done, we've gone to grab lunch, walk across to the library, walk over to Jeni's, and then walk back across to let the kiddo play in the fountain before leaving. The only thing I wouldn't do there is shop, like I would at Easton. If Easton is a top 10 destination "IN THE COUNTRY" does it slot in right behind Yellowstone, but just ahead of the Statue of Liberty? True Pointe is OK for what is, it's way better than Hamilton Quarter, probably better than Grandview Yard for variety, but it's no Bridge Park or Easton. That said it's infinitely better than a big box or strip mall so kudos to them for trying something.

Dublin: Bridge Park / Bridge Street District Developments and News
17thState replied to buildingcincinnati's post in a topic in Central & Southeast Ohio Projects & ConstructionDisappointed to hear they aren't pursuing the pedestrian bridge. I think that will isolate this too much and basically force people to drive across the street rather than dodge all that traffic.

Looks like it's Barracuda cruise missiles and Roadrunner interceptors. https://www.axios.com/2025/01/16/anduril-weapons-factory-ohio-brose

My random guess based solely on key words: military and project Thor is an artillery shell manufacturing location.

They better put some strong bollards in on that corner or there's going to be a few unplanned oil changes a year
